Thank you very much for all your efforts to memorable stay at your hotel. Special thanks to Abdullah who is one of the manager of hotel. He is quite professional for all our demands. Bathrooms are equipped with marbles and splendid adornment. Nice view to old town where you can see cave dwellings. Just one tip ; try to visit Cappadocia in summer period. It is quite cold in winter period. We wish to stay again one more time.

We stayed in one of te cave rooms of Yunak Evleri, which we adored and definitely would stay here again, if we were in the region! The hotel staff was very helpful and kind, organized everything for us. The room was great and fully equipped - except for the tv. (which is a choice, music player instead of tv:)) even the breakfast was very nice both traditional turkish and european tastes. Even the price you pay is a bit on the high side, I really recommend this hotel.

Our last stop on our Turkish adventure was in Cappadocia for two nights at the Unak Evleri Cave Hotel. Accommodation was great and staff was attentive, and we'd recommend this accommodation for anyone heading to explore the undgerground cities and fairy chimneys of this beautiful part of Turkey!

Room Tip: Make sure to request a room with a view - 2nd or 3rd floors.

We stayed at the Yunak Evleri in November. Overall it was a good stay. The rooms are very unique and it is in a good location to explore the general area. Breakfast is good and the older mansion rooms of the main hotel are fantastic. Our room was comfortably warm and quiet during what was quite cold weather. People have complained about the stairs but they were not too bad, just go slow.

Now for the negatives - The rooms seem to be getting old and need a few minor uplifts. Our bed was slanted to one side slightly which was ok for a night but by the third night I was glad to be leaving. I should have spoken up. There were some things that were broken in the bathroom such as the toilet seat and it was looking old.

However the worst negative was the customer service. We did have a good greeting but it was down hill from there. It was only till the end of the trip we became aware that there was a shuttle service from the hotel to nearby towns. We ended up never catching the shuttle during out three days and traveled by taxi or local bus spending a great deal of time outdoors in the cold or trying to figure where they pick you up. I still do not know if the shuttle exists but it worth asking for new arrivals. I asked one of the workers to arrange a taxi to take us to a very good pottery place in Avanon and to explore the town - however we were taken to a roadside tourist spot and had to argue with the driver to take us into town instead. Lastly, our flight was canceled the morning we were to leave. This was kind of a crisis for us having to switch this at the last minute as we had connecting flights which we would miss. We spend over 20 minutes on the phone in the managers office and I was dismayed to later learn they charged us about 40 lira for this time.

We will never likely return but if I did I would still stay here again since the other places looked worse but I'd be more picky about pointing out what was wrong in the rooms and probably rent a car next time.

It was our first time ever in a cave hotel! We did not know what to expect from Cappodacia nor the attractions it offered! Yunak was a real gem and surprise! From the moment we arrived, every need was anticipated and met. After an enjoyable Whirling dervishes show, we had returned very late. To our surprise, the night manager was there to remind us of our pick up for the next day. That was the case throughout our whole stay, they would appear from nowhere to remind us of our next pick up or arrangement or wake up call. It was very reassuring especially the early wakeup for the hot air balloon ride. We did not need to ask. They simply had arranged! The activities and sights were awesome. I was totally 'wowed' by the balloon ride. Hotel manager Abdallah and his team, well done!

Room Tip: ask for a room with a balcony. The views of the "ant hills" with the sunset and sunrise a...

Within the stone building, cozy meeting rooms provide a soothing atmosphere for lounging in the evening. Alongside a room with computer and wireless Internet connection, the music room has a wide variety of CDs you can borrow and the TV room is decked out in plush Turkish cushions with a view of the surrounding cliffs. There is a DVD room on the second floor decorated with local handmade pottery accessories, candles, and a lovely furnace. Evenings are characterized by sunset gatherings on soft upholstered Turkish pillows warmed by an outdoor fireplace. Candlelight dining is offered on the adjacent rooftop terrace. We serve local homemade foods for dinner and an open-buffet breakfast.
