Just back from a weeks holiday at The Palm Gardens in Marmaris. The transfer was included to the hotel, which was a godsend Got there just before midnight, our cases were taken to our room, no hanging around for a tip. We went bed and breakfast, so no fridge or kettle in the room, twin room. It was a last minute bargain, so we were delighted with the room, very clean .My daughter brought a travel kettle and teabags for that first cuppa when you wake up, good move. Just change a few lira to take with you, because you get a much better rate in turkey from the kiosks on the shop front. Went down to breakfast the next morning, this was my only niggle, expecting something on toast, but they've changed the menu this year, and its a turkish buffet table. Boiled eggs, some cheese, olives, salad, bread, little packs of butter and jam. No cereal or orange juice. There is a coffee and tea machine. We ended up buying our breakfast, but if you've got little kids it could add up. Apart from that everything great. The bar staff couldn't do enough for you, and were always on hand to bring you drinks around the pool. We had a bar tab for drinks and food and paid each day, much better. The food was really good, good snackbar menu, and in the evening they had special meals, soup, any chicken or steak dish on the menu and choice of desserts. The chicken one was 28 lira and the steak was 33 lira, very good value, everybody loved the food. Pool really big and one for the kids. Mixed holidaymakers, families, young and old, a lot of people on their own. Our room was cleaned every day and they did the towels in shapes, which was a nice touch. Don't drink the water, we bought ours every day from a little supermarket. Its minutes to the shops and beach front. You do get hassled a bit from the shopkeepers and the sunbeds on the front. It annoyed me at first, but get over it, don't let it spoil your holiday. The dolmus buses are really good, you can flag them down in-between stops. No need to walk anywhere if you don't want to. At 9pm each night in the harbour they have dancing fountains for about half an hour, worth a walk. Loads of places to go in the evening, take your kids with you. All in all had a great week. Hope this helps.

The hotel is so clean you can smell it. The food is great along with the staff, who can't do enough for you. It is just off the main road but far enough to be quiet. The large pool has the sun on it all day.

Room Tip: Pay the small amount extra to get a bigger room

Ignore bad reviews as they are ovs snobs and are expecting five star for the price of three star, I stayed here in July 15 and Aug 16 and have just rebooked for Aug 17 for 19 nights
The staff are great , the food and drink is reasonable, and the pool for a three star is massive

Room Tip: Depends on the person
