Description: "This is where Summer begins." The Lobster Roll Restaurant, also known as "Lunch", is a nostalgic beach shack serving lunch and dinner to locals and guests from around the globe. Our critically acclaimed family restaurant serves beach-side favorites like lobster rolls, chowders, steamers, fresh seafood, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, steak and homemade pies. We also feature a full-bar, gluten-free menu, and an extensive children's menu. Our famous lobster salad is made with 100% pure cold water lobster meat, using the same recipe we created almost 50 years ago! Our lobster salad contains no imitation seafood products, no fillers, no preservatives, and no artificial flavorings. It's all about quality! We have indoor and outdoor seating amidst sand dunes, gardens of summer flowers, umbrellas, beach balls, picnic tables, and plenty of smiling faces! By popular demand, our entire menu is available for take-out. We can also cater to you!

While staying in the Hamptons and being a big fan of the series “The Affair, my daughter and I had to stop in and try the famous Lobster Rolls and WOW!
The atmosphere was fantastic and just what you would expect for this long time well established restaurant. The staff was fantastic and patient will all the looky loos
trying to find certain spots where filming for the series had taken place. The food was fantastic! We had the raw oysters and clam chowder as an app and both of us had the lobster rolls with slaw and fries. The food was spot on!
Food Magazine Cover worthy! It is literally right on the beach front and although very crowded (It was July 4th) it didn’t take that long to be seated. I would highly recommend if you’re ever out that way.
I will go back again and again every time!

Had to go to the Lobster Roll. If you are in the Hamptons then don’t miss it. Great Lobster rolls and gluten free catered for so no missing out. Excellent margaritas also. Service was quick, efficient and very pleasant. It’s a tourist restaurant so go, enjoy the wonderful lobster rolls or other seafood and treat it as a very casual lunch. If you are a fan of the TV series The Affair this is the place that it all started, the very original Lobster Roll although TV took a license and portrayed it as being on the beach which it isn’t. But it is the real deal!

Nestled between Amagansett and Montauk on the north side of Montauk Highway is the seasonal Lobster Roll. The restaurant looks beachy and nautical. Nice friendly service. . Very good freshly prepared food. The lobster roll is plentiful and fresh. I had a really good fried flounder sandwich, very good fresh tuna sandwich Good fresh chowder, very flavorful. My only problem was the clam strips. Plate cost just as much as the lobster roll at $24.95, and the strips were very battery and not much clam A little disappointing but overall, everything else was very well done. If going for lunch get there before 12 because the place fills up quickly. Enjoy..

Went for our lobster roll never thinking it could compare to Red's in Maine which is our favorite. The food was brought out in 2 minutes and was overpriced as is everything out on the South Shore, but it was amazingly delicious as was the coleslaw. Different from Red's which is all meat, this had plenty of meat, some mayo and celery which gave it a crunchy but satifsying flavor. Would definitely return for another even though there is no AC which is usually a no-no for me but I had no choice if I wanted my lobster roll.

We pulled in here as it was about 5 mins away from our hotel. The place was busy at 1:30pm but the wait was short. Ate on the cute outside desk. Had the lobster seafood bisque... you have to try it, it was delicious and filling. Then had the crab cakes, also decent. They also make a mean pina colada..a must try!
