We thoroughly enjoyed for stay at Telal. The property blends into the desert setting and offers a peaceful atmosphere with stunning scenery. We booked a two bedroom, two bath villa for our family of four. It was very spacious and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed getting up early each morning just as the sun was rising and walking outside where I could see the gazelles roaming freely through the sand. Sometimes, they would even come close enough to the villa where you could see their adorable faces. The breakfast buffet was fabulous and the service top notch. There are a number of activities in which to partake including camel riding and sand boarding. We all had so much fun! We went in August so it was extremely hot, which we obviously expected, but luckily the air conditioning functioned well and the pool was refreshing. Be prepared to cover your feet at all times as the sand is scorching hot (at least in August). We did not realize that the location of the villas was not near the reception area or the pool, and that in order to get to and from the room, you needed to call for a van for transport. At first, I was a bit put off by this, but soon learned that this was not a problem at all. We never had any issues with this whatsoever, and every time we called for the service from the room or left the main area, someone was always immediately available to drive us. We appreciated disconnecting from the fast city pace of Dubai and Abu Dhabi for several days, and this resort was the perfect place to do so!
