The hotel is an old building but in good condition. The ower is rude but the staff is super kind. The hotel has two big designated áreas: a) the hotel with the SPA and SAUNA, small gym, indor pool & restaurant and b) recreatión área: outdor pool, Padle & tennis courts que a beautiful garden.
At least three living rooms...one of them with bussiness centre, WIFI is free of charge and breakfast is included un the fare. It's 7 to 10 blocks far from the historical área but is almost un front of Colonia Shoping Mall. Á verte good choice to go with the family

Room Tip: Better rooms on top floors

The ubication of the hotel is good, maybe far away to the harbor. If u wanna be near of the historical zone of the city perhaps this hotel is not the best option.
Breakfast it's ok and pool too.

Good.

Historic building desperately needing renovation and maintenance. Outdoor pool facilities are lacking maintenance. Nowadays there are better choices in and around Colonia. We ate at the restaurant, first day two chicken scallops with french fries and one serving from the buffet and the second day two baked fish with potato puree and were charged 224 USD. Recommend to stay away from the restaurant Adelle. Administration is caotic to say the least.

Room Tip: Rooms facing main road are noisy.

We were welcome by the daughter,s owner with a perfect french, and that was a surprise.
We got a hight level room, that is perfect for a 2 days stay.
They have a good restaurant,a fantastic outside pool,a very nice inside pool, and many more.
All the personel were very friendly and this is the reason why, most of the guest came back and back.
If I will have a suggestion,it is only the entrance, that is a little small when you are with luggages and there is many people leaving, but it is nothing compare to the warm welcome and the quality of the services.
Do not miss this place.

Was here as part of a Buquebus package. Had heard that the hotel was fantastic. It did not live up to that. The room on the 6th floor was spacious with a double and a single bed (despite requesting a double bed). No coffee machine nor microwave nor fridge in room. The outdoor pool was very nice, though a very long walk from the rooms in the tower. The indoor pool had tepid water, as did the hot tub, which I felt should have been hotter.
Chez Adela restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. We had dinner the first night and a lot of the buffet food was stale, being brought out night after night and not refridgerated for over 3 hours. Did not try A La Carte. Breakfast was included and morning after morning one saw a diminishing amount of cakes/brownies. Saturday morning brought some new food out.
They have a shuttle that will pick you up at the port, if you call for it. We walked the distance in the afternoon heat, dragging our suitcase uphill. We were grateful at the end of our stay that we were dropped off at the bus terminal at the entrance to the port.
WiFi as sketchy with 2-3 options; likewise, television which would freeze and catchup, any channel at any time of day. The usual excuse that they had a new internet in place. A specific channel was viewable in the dining room, but not in the room ....
There is no business centre; they do offer massages and other spa treatments for about USD45 per session.

Room Tip: We were in the tower and faced NW ... great sunsets from there or the elevator lobby
