On first glance, the itinerary looked touristy, but i thought what the heck, let's be touristy anyway! And true enough.. although many experiences (ilke riding a water buffalo or making rice paper the traditional way) were curated for a tourist feel, not once did it feel like a trap. Every part was well executed like clockwork, making the transition of activities very smooth. We really learnt from funny Helen's knowledge in the markets and the BEST part was the food!!! making your own fresh rice paper spring roll, craving little animals from vegetables, frying our own banh xeo pancakes, simply amazing. i would definitely recommend every tourist to Hoi An to try this 1 activity!

My girlfriend and I were blessed to have an opportunity to experience such an amazing cooking class for traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

We Were both instructed by a beautiful and lovely lady named Suan a.k.a "Spring" , first she took us around the market for a brief introduction of different ingredients and how to pick the perfect item for the dishes we cook for the day.

We then go back to the village for a quick tour of the organic farm and I was amazed by how green and fresh the vegetables are.

Then the cooking was incredible and the instructions were clear and simply, it's perfect for people who don't normally cook or don't cook at all.

A special thank for Suan again for taking care of us, took lots and lots of amazing videos for us, such great memories !!!

We visited the veggie villgae with our kids and happened across this resturant looking for a tour of the gardens etc. The lady that greeted us 'Ha' gave us our options and we commenced a veggie farming tour, together with a ride on a water buffalo and a ride in a traditional basket boat. We were then instructed on how to farm veggies the traditional vietnamese way and at the end of 3 hours we were treated to the most delightful and delicious organic lunch. Produce straight from the garden and probably the best and tastiest meal we have eaten in Vietnam.
Our kids aged 11, 9, 7. Were treated like royalty and had a ball.

Nice reception and friendly staff took good care of us during the whole stay and learned us a lot about herbs, vegetables and food cooking. Sung was a particularly lovely girl, sparkling with joy and happiness and made many jokes.

We found everything beautiful the moment we stepped foot in Tra Que Water Wheel. We were greeted by a refreshing unique drink which was so good! The garden is well-kept and you will find loads of herbs and vegetables there. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and nice. Mr. Hoang and his wife are very kind and professional too. They toured us around and taught us how to make rice paper! Very fun experience :) The food was amazing! We had Vietnamese pancakes that we wrapped in rice paper, shrimp and pork wrapped in fresh herbs etc. Our experience there was simply unforgettable! If you are anywhere near Hoi An, Tra Que Water Wheel is a must! :) Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality Mr. Hoang!
