After going to sand dune, we went to The Sand Museum. The theme is "The United States of America".

It was amazing to see such beautiful sand sculptures, the details are incredible! Ticket fee is just 600 Yen. It’s really worth to it.

Don't miss it!

Just opposite the dune is the sand museum. Beautifully craft. November theme is the USA. Easy to get to as it has direct bus access.

Craftsmanship, design, imagination, replicas are worth visiting. I just came by to visit since I went to sand dune, but once stepping inside OMG it is really great and shown their true efforts to make this museum happen
The place is rather small in my opinion, it would be much greater if the place is double size. Hence it will take you only hour or less to view them all. The pity is that sand-craft display is changing almost every year due to limited space, once the new ones are crafted, they have to get rid the olds to give space. I only wanted to have them all on display other than getting rid of it.
One of the best place you guys should visit.

We spent a couple of days in Tottori between being in Tokyo, Kobe, and Osaka and honestly this was one of the highlights of the trip. Cheap to get in (600 Yen) and so impressive. I didn't actually know that sand sculpture on this scale and of this precision was possible. Completely worth the time, especially with the sand dunes outside as an added free activity.

The entrance ticket is ¥600 and if you buy the ticket from Tottori tourist information Centre, you can get ¥100 discount off.
This year's theme is "The United States
of America". Suggest you watch the short movie briefing how the team members overcome the difficulties to make these sand sculptures.
You can add the Sand Museum chop here in your collection.
