We stayed in this hotel for one night. When we first arrived, we had issues with the check in, as the lady at the front desk didn't speak English. Also be prepared, if you have breakfast the next morning, you have to make your order the night before. The room we received with my wife was so small, we couldn't even open our suitcases. To open the door of the hotel rooms, you will be receiving the classic metal key instead of a key card. We were glad we only had to stay for one night. The breakfast however was exceptional and surprising good.

Very new and nice hotel. However, the rooms were small. Great location just beside the river, with ample parking with no charges. The staff were courteous and the decoration at the lobby was very welcoming.

Room tip: All rooms faced the river, I think.

Totally awesome and will definite recommend everyone to stay here. Hubby n I were so impressed.. Comparing to other hotels we stayed and paid 2-3 times more than this one, we totally love it!!

Staff upgraded our room for free and gave us a large king size bed! Room is so clean n large; toilet is very nice too with all the things you need~~ best it has yummy breakfast:)

Stayed here for a week, and I must say it was a great value hotel!
Breakfast was excellent, but would have been nice if the chef changed it up a little every other day.
Room was newly refurbished, very comfy and pretty big for Japan too. The room was a little hot though, and with a huge duvet it was a tad uncomfortable on occasion. But it was mid winter and i'm sure if i'd spoken with reception they could have changed that.
Will stay again when next in Kushiro without doubt.

Room tip: Newly renovated rooms on top floors are good.

Initially I was skeptical about choosing this hotel, because the past reviews were average. However, I found that most people stayed in the old rooms (smoking) and the hotel had new renovated rooms (non-smoking) starting on 6/6/2015.

Room: I stayed in the renovated room and I am very satisfied with the standard of the room. Very new and modern room and toilet with reasonable price. The air-con was extremely weak and opening of windows was needed to keep the room cool. The weather of Kushiro at night during summer is quite cool anyway (below 20 degree C). Rooms are not large but larger than most hotel rooms near the JR station.

Service: The staffs were helpful - they voluntarily carried our luggage to our room (and you don't need to tip because Japanese don't accept tips). Considering this is a 3 star hotel such service is more than expected. But the staffs could hardly communicate in English.

Location: This hotel is located next to the Nusamai Bridge. To access the city centre, you need to walk across the bridge. 10 mins' walk to the famous Robata restaurant. It is far away from the JR station, so I only recommend to travelers who are driving. Parking is free.

Recommendation to the hotel: Providing self-service laundry will be better than providing laundry service since this is only a 3-star hotel. Not many people are willing to pay the extra money for laundry service.

Room tip: Choose the recently renovated rooms (Hollywood rooms)
