It was a luxurious hotel. The staff was very friendly and kind.
It located really convenient, everywhere walking distance, 7 minutes from Otaru Station, 10 minutes to Otaru Canal, 1 minute to a convenience store.
They also have the free public bath, and really comfortable. More

When I booked this hotel I was not impressed by the way it looks from the outside and overall paid very little attention to it as I was bound to spend just one single night here. When I arrived I was pleasantly impressed; the inside looks very nice, much better that the anonymous outside. Rooms are spacious and very clean, the location is great, close enough to the old railway and the canal (which is exactly where I wanted to go) without being in the middle of the most crowded places. Service is very attentive and the place also features a small shop, a cafeteria and other public spaces where you can sit back and relax. It was a pleasant surprise.

A centrally located mid-size hotel. Room and facilities were well maintained, clean and in tip top condition. Service was efficient, precise and polite. It has a small onsen in the basement and entrance is 300yen per day per adult. Good location: 3 minutes walk to Otaru Sushi Street, 7 minutes walk to Otaru Canal,15 minutes walk to Sakaimachi-Dori. Had not tried the food so cannot comment. It was a pleasant stay.

Walking distance from the Otaru JR station, this family friendly hotel has a very nice bakery and walking distance to most sights at Otaru e.g Orgel Museum, Canal etc. The hotel serves a very delectable Japanese breakfast!

The staff are amazing; nothing is too much trouble for them.
I was very happy with my room, although the view was mostly a huge concrete wall.
I used the Onsen a couple of times and it is very good. Not natural hot water, but who cares? The temperature was very good - challenging even!
I didn't eat in house other than breakfast, (very decent buffet selection) because the restaurant prices look scary, and there is a great deal of cheap options in the area.
Location is excellent, not far from the train, busses right outside, and walking distance to all the main downtown area.

Start off by saying that the staff in this hotel where unfalliable. Amazing attitude and presence gave the hotel an overall good vibe.
The bad points:
- Price. Honestly not worth the price of ¥9300 per person. Rooms were nice but pretty ordinary, hotel did not have a gym, pool or entertainment area which I would personally expect for that price.
- Uninformative. We were not informed at the time of booking that the use of the public baths comes at an extra cost. This is borderline deceptive, the hotel has the responsibility of letting its guests know that they have to pay extra to use the baths. The on- sen was not amazing by any means, would have spent that money wisely elsewhere.
-Too formal- Could not wear hotel provided slipper to breakfast. I am not a peasant who comes to a breakfast buffet showering soot everywhere, but being told to go put on my shoes ( only had thick snow boots ) for breakfast was uncomfortable and just very annoying.
These aren't major points of disuation for most, but will not be staying there again.

First of all, we would like to apologise for any inconvenient caused during your stay with us.
Our public bath is chargeable at 300yen per night for multiple usage. In order to provide the best deal to our guests, facility like parking and public bath are chargeable to guests who to utilise it.
All the information with price and operating hours are stated in your key holder which is given to you upon check in.
As for the slippers, it is stated that slippers are not allowed in public areas for the guest safety and the sign is placed in front of the slippers in your room.
We experienced guests who tripped and fell while wearing the slippers at the restaurant. After the incident, management decided to not allow guests wearing slippers to the restaurant to ensure the safety of our guests.
