The hotel opened in early 2018, so it is in brand-new condition. Our room (we paid a little more for the Superior Double) was 26 m2, which is quite large for a business hotel in Japan. The large bed was firm and comfortable, but one of each pair of pillows seemed to have four rows of tiny sandbags on one side. A Japanese tradition? All four pillows were extremely thick. Using the toilet, which was in its own room, was rather intimidating for a Canadian. We eschewed the Boeing 747 controls, and kept things simple! The stand-alone table was small (19" diameter). The two chairs were armless, but comfortable. The desk was enormous (20" x 60"). There was a smartphone, a small refrigerator and electric kettle, but no microwave. The toiletries were of very high quality. From our high floor, we had a fascinating view over a wide area of Yokohama's motorways. The location, just meters away from the NW exit of Yokohama Station, was perfect. The restaurant on the 2nd floor was very good. Lastly, I should mention the staff, all but one of whom spoke English very well.
