Mostly this is a good hotel. It's clean and though the rooms are small (common in this part of the world) they have everything you'd need . . . except comfortable mattresses.
We stayed one night here in advance of a cruise ship departure the next day. The hotel is located in a good place, with access to a lot of things to do and not very far from Osanbashi Pier, where many cruise ships depart.
But oh, that mattress; it was really bad. I haven't had such an awful night's sleep in quite a while. It felt like the cheapest of the cheap mattresses in a bargain store. It sagged badly and provided no support.
This was baffling to me. Right next to the bed stood a pants press, a device rarely provided in any but the most elite hotels, and even more rarely actually used. What were they thinking? "If we are stingy on the mattress, we can afford to provide a pants press"? It made no sense to me at all.
If you sleep just fine on poor quality bedding, then maybe this won't matter to you and you'll like it here. If I'm in Yokohama again, I'll stay elsewhere.
