After visiting the Fukuoka Tower, I found a nearby seaside place that's also very interesting to visit. You can either take a stroll along the beach or even have a dip. One may also choose to just spend an easy time viewing the architecture of Fukuoka Tower. There are also places to eat which is another good reason to hang out. A really good area for recreation or just relax and unwind.

The boundaries of the so called Momochi Seaside Park are still not very clear to me but it encompasses a lot of sights including the Fukuoka Tower, Fukuoka City Museum, the Fukuoka Library, street art, beaches and the Softbank Hawks Dome. So in effect it is definitely not a Park in the tradition sense of the word. Yes, there are some green spots but that is it. Nevertheless it is a very enjoyable area to spend time. There are a lot of attractions of which I consider Fukuoka Tower to be the most interesting one.

I went to Momochi Beach at day and night.
So quiet and beautiful place.
This is very near from Hilton Fukuoka SeaHwak, and on the way to Fukuoka tower from this hotel.
Sunset of Momochi is very beautiful and the light of wedding chapel is cool at night.
Next morning I went again, it’s goot to take a photo because there are pretty lighthouses.

A nice beach with many shops and restaurants. Do not plan to swim after a major rain. Call first to confirm cleanliness of beach.

Basically a small beach with a few walkways and a small pier.
Only worth visiting as a part of a trip to Fukuoka tower and Fukuoka Muesum.
