Room was quiet and clean , friendly, pool was nice, gardens green and peaceful. Close to town by foot . All in all a great value for the price. I visited 5 years ago and it was same except for big trucks rumbling past. Not too bad . My only complaint was the cloth bra and wig stuck on the female Masai wooden statue at restaurant entrance.

Spent 2 nights in the newly refurbished ground floor rooms which are very spacious and clean. An ideal place if you seek a quiet serene environment for relaxation. Wish i had spotted this place earlier but definiteely going back come januaary 2016. Highly recommended. Thee rate which are inclusibe of breakfast will astonish you. Wish they could change the current arab satellite Tv to one which has something for all clientele otherwise quite impressed.

Room tip: go for the ground floor rooms...newly refurbished

My second stay at Paradise Village, as the locals call it, was as pleasant as the first one two years ago. The room and interior were clean and mosquito-free. The garden is gorgeous with huge mango trees, tall palm trees and flowering bushes. The poolwater was clean and clear. The restaurant offers African and Italian food for reasonable prices.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
You will enjoy your time at the Paradiso Villaggio Malindi!

The place is nice, the whole setting also. The pool was very dirty (guess didn't clean for some months at the time). The rooms are basic, this wasn't the problem, but are so dirty and shabby. The mosquito net wasn't washed since the opening of that place or before, when we unfolded for the night a huge dusty cloud filled our room for few minutes. The linen were full of stains and didn't seem washed. The bathroom ... no words, can't describe the stains and dirty everywhere. Is a basic hotel so didn't expect more from the services BUT CLEALINESS YES is a MUST even if is in a budget hotel. Couldn't sleep and went to another very good and clean B&B for more or less same price.

I really liked the setting of the 2-storey houses around the pool. Well maintained. Rooms (self-contained, big bed) are basic but ok. Sometimes the toilet was "bubbling" a bit (and a bit smelly) but that was no problem. It's located 10 minutes walking from main road (Lamu - Malindi Road) but there are always motorbike taxis available. When I have to stay in Malindi again, I will definitely be back. Very reasonable rates!
