The hotel is opposite the KSL mall which is pretty much a good location. But the hotel does have very sleazy business around.
Saw a few ladybiy trying to tout at guests in the lobby for business.
If you are with family, please avoid at all cost.
Stay in Room 602.
Overheard many sleazy voice in the night next door.
Doors were opening and closing the whole night.

To be fair, the rooms are decent although inevitably one can see filth and bad maintenance. The check-in was quite hassle free until one reaches the hotel room to find out that the door was literally stuck and has to use body weight to crash it open. Adding to that greyish white old towels were a disgrace to the hotel and such should never be given to guests. The air-con didn't work well at all and needed a complete overhaul. Breakfast was miserable and eating along the shops outside the hotel would be a better idea. All in all, cheap rates aside, this hotel is sadly not of its yesteryear, badly run-down and needs some clean up. Also rooms are all smoking-rooms and if you want a non-smoking one, they will offer you one with "less smell".

Room Tip: Choose rooms with huge drop windows.

Amongst all budget hotels - this hotel has to be worst I have experienced. The room is terribly smelly. It's dirty. Very poorly maintained. Hotel is very old and dire need of refurbishment.

The worst of it is sleeping at night. It's so noisy with the karaoke blasting away and the room is totally not sound proofed at all. Not only from the outside noise of the building but also the other guest walking outside the corridor. The karaoke basically blast away till around 2:00am.

Blackout curtains are torn so even if you want to make up your sleep from lack of earlier - forget it.

Definitely a NOT recommended hotel especially for families who are looking forward to a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Dirty, disgusting and dreary hotel.

Stayed for 1 night.Hotel is value for money.
Pros- Good flow of water from shower head
-Walking distance to KSL Mall where I did my massage @Dr Soho
-10mins Taxi ride from JB Sentral
-Variety of breakfast consisting baked beans, fried rice(nice!!), they even have egg station
-Fast check in
Cons- Hotel has a weird odour @Lobby
-Lack of manpower
During breakfast, there were no waiters except for the staff mending the egg station & the restaurant reception
this resulted in no spoon avaialble and no sugar for hot beverage
-Staff although polite, is unfriendly. So dont expect service beyond what you pay

The Hotel just opposite KSL Shopping Mall. Good to stay for 1-2nights especially on Monday to hit the Monday Night Market beside KSL shopping Mall where take bus back to city square mall. It starts at 5pm. Food are cheap expecially the ayam laksa, chendol also must try their carrot cake too which have long queue. very awesome taste.

Hotel have a very weird smell even change of room. believe should be their air fresher. Hotel service so-so, breakfast nothing fantastic just simple.

Very easy to come here. just take a bus from City Square Mall bus interchange at JB.
Take the bus as the end with the big word "KSL Shopping" in front of the bus cost RM1.50 then shop outside KSL Shopping Mall.

Apart from shopping mall and momday night market with some food store, nothing much around.
