Room with city view is nice. Do not provide bedroom slippers. As the room is carpeted, I do feel very uncomfortable. Booked room for 3. Like its layout, spacious. Hotel is located above KSL shopping mall. So it is very convenient to have a short shopping cum retreat there once in a while. Would come back again if I wanted a short retreat.

very value for money considering it has a very convenient location to most facilities and retail. Would recommend to anyone looking for a short stay with comfort. Staffs were friendly and efficient in assisting check in and check out

Experienced the monday nite pasar malam, lots of food varieties there. Location of KSL is good as connected to shopping center. Wifi not very good as its intermitten. Overall room is big and clean although wall paper seems to be peeling off abit due to aging.

10,30am -Rm5-rm6 from Jb central to KSL resort (by grab or taxi )
Arrived around 10.45am and was given a early checkin .
Pay the full amount of our stay(rm401+rm 20 for tourism tax _superior room w breakfast) .
Booked through KSL website caused it website stated that you get 15 percent cheaper than booking at other websites.
FYI -it not truth -other booking website about the same rate!! Hotel do not request /required for credit card to hold our money.Pay the full amount (cash or credit card ) and you ready to go,
Receptionist friendly and helpful. Lot of staff manning the reception counter

Hotel room is clean and bathroom complete with toiletries . Bathroom in good condition . Air con in good condition too. Hot water kettle.safe,iron with iron board provided . Breakfast lot of varieties and many hot food stations . Mixed of Local and western flavour.
The restaurant Infusion is Halal Certified by Jakim.. Senior above 60 yrs old given 20 percent discount on F&B outlet -(buffet lunch full rate RM 60 and dinner rm 90)
Buffet lunch/dinner is value for money .
Got issue with the safe but staff was prompt to rectify it.
Mall within the hotel . Many good restaurants. fast food .etc available.
Mall look congested caused lot of pop up booths esp mobile phone counters.
Prefer City Square .(jb central) Take bus S1 or taxi to city square rm 6/ 7 mins.
Ksl very good location and accessible to nearby shopping centres and activities. Shuttle service S1 (bus stop located next to hotel entrance) to JB central (city square Shopping Mall ) 10-15 mins journey(rm 1.5) .
Grab or taxi is easily available around hotel - about the same fare if travelling within the city area .
Take note the yellow top taxi(restricted -Johor state only) is cheaper than the white top taxi (multi state). Check the traffic condition on google Map b4 taking the taxi or Grab .
If the traffic is congested(red colour coding) along/at some point of the route then used Grab - it will save you some money.
For our Muslim friends the nearest mosque is at Masjid Kampong Kurnia (taxi/grab rm6- around10 min) or masjid Taman pelangi .
Muslim owned Selera senibong seafood @persisiran pantai senibong is about 15 min 10km around rm10 by GRAB.
We try the "all red tablecloth and all red uniform "/2nd stall from the right but listing as gerai No1.
Price is reasonable and the taste is good . They weight the items you select and inform you the amount you need to paid b4 food is served . Return journey booked for GRAB.
Should go for the Morning Farmer market(wet and dry) aka Pasar tani Datin Halimah (opened on sat ONLY 7.00am to 12pm /12mins rm10 GRAB) Vegetables, meat ,poultry ,hot local food etc is available . Travel early caused traffic congestion built up around 8 am onwards. Take Grab to these places. If take taxi or GRAB _upon entering/sighted Pasar TANI/market area and then you see long queue of cars ,then politely request to alight and walk in . Save you time .
Return journey - take taxi that is available at the location/market . Don;t book for GRAB cause it take longer time for GRAB to reach you cause of congestion nearby/ entering the market.
FYI: sun morning only go to pasar Tani Bandar Uda (sun only 7-12 pm/15 mins -rm 10 _7.6 km)
We only visited the Pasar tani Datin Halimah.
For those driving - near the hotel vicinity there is lot of car repair shop and car wash garage. Get your car service and clean b4 heading home !!!!

I strongly recommend this hotel for those holidaying in Johor Bahru.
Pls check on the sound proofing of tower 2 room 2645. It's terrible! Shouldn't have offer to any guest at all!! I could hear the lifts operating very single minute, imagine that when you were sleeping in the middle of the night!
