Reached only by boat, it is also known as Pregnant Maiden Lake. There is a boat landing, with a cafe and toilets and then the TREK - please don't go if you have any problems walking, it is uphill all the way and the steps are quite uneven in places. I managed to fall and really hurt my foot! I pressed on, and once you are at the top and walk down there is a very pretty lake, with partitioned off sections for swimming and others for boating. There does not appear to be any changing rooms, toilets or refreshments. I wanted to sit and wash my foot, but there wasn't any fresh water and the only chair appeared to be that sat on by the man who hired out swimming kit!!

Sorry to be negative, but it is really a place for people who like treks and are quite fit!!

Beautiful lake - you can swim and go kayaking. You have to buy tickets to go in and pay for life jackets / kayak (10MYR for both) - have to use life jacket if you want to swim / kayak.

Went to this island on an island hopping tour and was rewarded with a beautiful hike up through the forest which leads to an amazing freshwater lake. Well worth a visit and make sure you have plenty of drinking water as the heat and humidity sap you on the short hike.

Beautiful greenery, excellent views, feels like heaven. Has paid rest room facility and minimal facilities for snacks & drinks. (On the day of our visit ,no hot beverage Tea/Coffee was available.) Very relaxing and beautiful island.

Lovely island famed for its hills in the shape of a pregnant maiden. Boats and jet skis arrive here all the time as part of the 3 island cruises and you are given about half an hour here to walk along the jungle path to the lake for 6R. There are signs to say you mustnt swim in the deep water without a life jacket which can be hired for 5R but plenty of people did. Water is cool on a hot day and solar powered boats are available should you wish to explore the lake.
Unfortunately, the whole experience was completly ruined by inconsiderate people feeding the monkeys for a "funny" photo. The monkeys are a little aggressive as they are being fed allsorts all day. It was particularly distressing to see a monkey being given a plastic cup of orange drink so someone could get a photo with him trying to figure out how to drink it. In another instance, tourists dropped a bag and were taking photos of a monket taking pieces off and eating it.
The Authorities really should have staff on the island if they want to preserve its beauty as people need guidance in respecting the wildlife. Couldn't wait to get off the island, what a shame.
