I read the reviews and passed by last night after eating at another place nearby.

The steamed fish with lemon is good if you can handle spicy - really spicy.
We also ordered the beancurd with crabmeat, which was very nicely served in a kind of soup.

The famous lala in the spicy sauce was very good, but 1/3 of the shells were empty and the content wasn't floating at the bottom of the plate either. Still, it was only 12rm and the portion looks big at the first impression.

I ordered the watermelon juice, but there must be something about this juice in the all island cause they all serve it so water down. However, my friend lime juice was very refreshing.

Nice place to dine out in open air! Must try the special lemon sauce steamed fish and oyster sauce prawn. Price is reasonable depending on what you order. Good environment for family and friends gathering.

At first i was looking for the happy steamboat & grill, but unfortunately, they're closed! Saw this restaurant just across the road and decided to give it a try, was greeted by a friendly lady, we ordered lala (clams) , bamboo clams, lemon steamed barramundi (siakap), stir fry water spinach, the downside was the oh chien (oyster omelette) which was abit floury and very few oyster.. Overall good!

Food was nice, and in large portions. I went for the *small* Tom yam soup as a starter, which was pretty massive really, no idea what the large one looks like. Food was good, seafood was reasonably priced for the area, and service was decent too. Not a bad place, but probably the same as most other places nearby,
