Beautiful location beside river on outskirts of KB. Breakfasts great. Think they are hoping to upgrade rooms which is needed imo. Looked after very well by Simon who took us on fireflies trip which was amazing and sorted us out with kayaking trip and made us feel welcome. Grab taxi service was lifesaver as it enabled us to get out and about to sightsee and visit restaurants in the evening.

This place is great for those seeking the best experience in the nature. Owners are really nice family people. My son loves the place. Only thing is make sure you bring your own food like bread and biscuits.

I did not stay here so can't comment on that side of it, but this is a wonderful place to visit - and I did wish that I had planned to stay for the night to see the fireflies. The welcome was warm and the place is just lovely.

    location: 10km from centre
    transport: 99% taxi (40 ringgit)
food: no food provided. the nearest shop with "instant noodles" is 1 km away
i stayed few days, and that's all i had.
some foreigners stayed 1 night, and.....fasted.
the place is used by huge groups, 50/100.
    shared facilities can be.....challenging!
being on a river in the middle of a forest, it's full of mozquitoes, insects. and the dorm is nt properly "sealed".

ideal place for someone who fasts and don't mind huge noise and using taxi
not ideal if one needs to eat, quiet, some private space, and relies on a budget for traveling.

    Thanks for review.

    Its 5km to city center.

He is coming under CouchSurfing which is being rejected by one of CS in KB and sent to my place.

He willing to be a voulenter and we inform him that we dont have exact job everyday since its a small place in malay village.

He will be in room at 6pm cause too scared with mosquito even its a flies, and woke up at 11am, gerting angry no food at 11am since my family and other voulenteer had breakfast at 8am.

We ask to help in our organic garden at 8am, he got accused by only can help after 12pm which is hot in malaysia.

Should we provide food for this type of people who is looking for free accommodation and negative mentality?

Rm40 for taxi is totally not logic, its max rm25 if you take a taxi, bus is passing by every 25min which only cost rm1.80 per person.

He got sore throat and wanted us to arrange him with ENT speciallist which is not possible directly for specialist since its goverment hospital must be in que list.

Its not stayed for a few days and and all he had, he was chased away after being complained by other voulenteer and also we got report from our guest that he told them not to stay here cause nothing is special, even the guest is already a week here.

    Thanks
