There are actually several temples near Sam Po. The middle temple has a lengthy climb through the cave to a slightly overgrown lookout. Sam Po has a turtle pond and somewhat delapidated temple inside a "hidden" grotto, which makes for some good photos. Easy to reach by public bus

We got a taxi here from Ipoh. It was wonderful and definitely worth the visit. Beautiful temples set within a limestone cave. Beautiful gardens to explote with plants, koi carp & turtles. Very colourful and peaceful.

We made a stop to see the cave temples of Ipoh, Malaysia and we were pleasantly surprised by the number and beauty of the numerous temples all located within walking distance of each other. Take your time and enjoy the diversity. Be sure to walk through the rock gardens they are unique.

One of nature's great wonders - a lovely cave. A close up with stalagmites and stalactites! A must see in Ipoh.
