Went to this hotel as all the other Pangkor's hotel are fully booked during the recent school break. We were initially booked at another hotel at Teluk Batik but we could not find it and since the area was not to our expectation, we decided to switch to this hotel. We got the deluxe room with twin single beds(RM248) which overlook the pool and partial view of the beach. The room is clean and tidy but a tad worn on the furnishings. The floor is tiled and not carpeted. The bathroom is without bathtub, only shower. They only provide 2 towels and 2 soaps. There were no bathmats to dry the feet and I slipped but manage to catch myself. The breakfast is horrible. I would expect fresh juices and not cordial drinks. The front office staff were polite and pleasant. No complimentary newspaper. It is awesome to watch the sun sets from the room's balcony. Not much privacy as the balcony is too close to each other. There might be some inconsiderate people who ruin your day by smoking and talking loudly on the balcony. Will I be coming back? No!

Front office was VERY helpful and felt like home already. The check in was fast even though we didn't make a booking. The room was spacious for two person but dangerous. The room was slippery especially the bathroom and the hotel management should consider to put a carpet to avoid any incident which has happen to me. The breakfast was good and there were no flies at all (comparing this review to the other review). Lots of choices but i have to agree on the choices of drinks. The management should consider to provide fresh juices compare to cordial (The room rate is high so we expect more). The view was excellent and we were not bother to watch television. But there was no privacy because your neighbour can peek on you from their balcony. Not good for honeymooners!

I stayed her for a seminar and found the hotel satisfying.

At first I was apprehensive after reading the bad reviews here but I found that they have improved a lot.

The rooms were clean. Only minor things were lacking like the bottom of the toilet door was rotten and the there was no shower door.

My room had a view of the naval shipyard and I could see ships passing.

The buffet breakfast was good with not a fly in sight, I guess a vast improvement from previous complaints about flies every where. There was a good variety including fruits.

Only the drinks was lacking as it cordial orange juice, not fresh juices.

The location of the hotel right next to the waterfront made it quite accessible by foot.

The beach was mediacore but I suspect this wasn't the hotel's main attraction.

A good weekend getaway or a weekend seminar location.

Stayed for a week and that was enough.
As in previous reviews the breakfast was shocking, cold, poor choices and flies everywhere! In the land of amazing fresh fruit, the orange juice was made from powder !!
Pool was OK but the service was non existant, when they are charging £4.00 for a bottle of beer, they are really missing a trick if they don't ask if you might want one.
Laundry service used but not again, very cheap but they wrecked a couple of shirts by scrubbing them to death.
Free WiFi was unreliable and very slow.
Good location for BNS and Navy also they couple of good bar/restaurants Capri and Jooks.
