Long way to go for these springs

Went to Poring as part of a day tour from KK. Have been to hot springs before in other countries and these only had a few hot springs, with cold pools too. V popular with locals and tourists but not a must see or do in my opinion

Nice way to relax

There were plenty of small tubs and some larger pools where you can relax and enjoy soaking in the hot water. You can control the temperature of the water because there was a faucet each for cold water and hot water. Place is quite far though. About 3 hours from Kota Kinabalu City.

Very Popular

We booked a tour with this included in the package. However, it turned out that we just passed by here and we were not able to experience what a "poring hotspring" is.

There were many pools but it was still too crowded. Probably ten people needs to fit in just a pool for 4. This is not okay for foreigners travelling to just relax.

Probably, the management may need to limit the number of visitors per day. Like for us, we paid in advanced but we're not able to experience it.

NATURE

Beautiful scenery with well maintained surrounding and good facilities. Best place to relax with the greenery while soaking in the natural hot spring

Good to visit

We stay near Kinabalu Park, had ask taxi driver to go Poring Hot Springs, but he charge us RM 200, so we decide not go as it was too expensive in transportation. The next day, another driver charge us RM 120, so we go, we find it is good to stay about 2 hour here. The bathtubs areas are clean. The water in swimming area is cold. We also go to treetop Canopy Walk. Only our family in the treetop Canopy area, what a relaxing.
