I got cheap rate from Agoda for 3 days 2 nights stay for this 2 bedroom apartment hotel. Suitable for family and friends, cooking facilities and fridge available. Pool on top of the building and has a nice view. A bit far away from most attraction area, but if you have your own transport then should be no problem as parking also available.

I discovered this hotel through Expedia.

Attracted to the kitchen and 2 bedrooms suite, as well as the price.

I have been to Kota Kinabalu many times for work now, and this is the first time I stayed in a suite, at reasonable price.

The hotel shares the lobby, lifts and car parks with SKY Hotel. In fact they both are in the same building. I am not sure how to tell which is SKY and which is Borneo Vista aisle. Well, it does not matter. Let just say, follow the room number.

The room is generally clean.

The bed is really comfortable, I slept really well.

It is not really close to food places, neither the convenient store. You need like 10mins walk to the nearest. Also, there is no walk way, pretty much, walk at your own risk.

Room has no study nor work desk, kind of a let down.

Leaking toilet. The floor is constantly wet. Kind of annoying. Especially in the morning, when it is cold.

For the price I paid, the room was absolutely massive. Plus the place was very clean with all the basic amenities provided. Wifi was strong and there's a rooftop pool to watch the sunset if you fancy.

Counter staff was extremely pleasant despite checking in late and they serve food late till late night.

The entrance can be pretty confusing though as they share the same lobby as Sky Hotel, but it's not a big deal once you get past this.

This place could be great - at the moment, it's not. Room is nice with a good view but sofa and mattress are covered in stains. Pool is nice - but the seating area is covered so no sunbathing. Wifi is very weak... but the worst thing was the service staff made some situations quite stressful (eating.. drinking.. booking tour). We stayed 6 nights - they don't even acknowledge you when you walk in. Restaurant food is good but she brought our mains before finishing starter? Rude wait staff. Can't drink beer before 5pm. Location fine.

The suite that I booked came with 2 rooms (1King bed + 1 queen bed). The living hall space is big with a sofa plus a day bed near the windows. Kitchen is neat and comes with utensils and fridge. The bathrooms are clean except that there is no partition thus kind of dangerous when you're out from the bathroom (floor is wet). Roof top pool is kind of small but good for kids to enjoy a swim. No nearby stalls available, but with car, it's easily accessible to nearby malls like Suria Sabah Mall, Imago and centre point. Good stay for family vacation!
