From the start things were great with friendly, well informed staff with a good knowledge of local conditions and thing to do as well as good attention to detail. Richard from the Deju Vu bar was very helpful and gave an excellent explanation of local history. Breakfast buffet was great as was lunch. Kuching is great with much more to offer than we had time for. We will be back.
The hotel does not need a heated pool as it is on the equator :)

Stayed here for a work conference. Room was amazing and spacious. Hotel was new and modern. Breakfast was soooooo expensive for Malaysian prices. It was 50RM which is expensive even for British prices!

Pullman Kuching is one of the newest hotel in the city of Kuching. Stayed here for 4 nights which was great!

During my stay, I was given a complimentary upgrade to a family room which was very spacious. The view isn't great at all cause its not by the river so I would advise you not to put any high hopes on having a room with great views.

Overall the room was good, came will all the necessary items as per your usual hotels. Sheets were clean and so was the bathroom. However house keeping of the room might have to be improved. For a family room, the towels given were inconsistent everyday and the items in the room used by guest were not kept back accordingly which normally all housekeeping would do. Toiletries such as shower gels and shampoo were not replenished as well. Other than that, the room was tidied up properly except for the air-conditioning which cannot be adjusted.

As for the gym and pool, they both close at 10pm daily. The pool doesn't offer anything amazing but good enough for a dip and swim. The gym is lacking on equipment but they offer classes which be good for those who wants to burn some calories.

The hotel is located nearby to Hilton Kuching and just 10 minutes walk to the waterfront area. Getting around from the hotel is easy as well with Grab. To the airport is takes around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic and a Grab fair cost RM11.

The only two helpful staffs at the Hotel is the receptionist Mr.Jamahari and Ms.Danielle who is the one assisting on my room request. Initially have specified in my bookings through the Accor Hotels web for high floors but ended up being check in on the lower floors with a run down room. Room is dusty with the air-conditioning ducts full of dust. Toilet was showing sign of mould on the walls. The 7th floor room was noisy with some construction noise going on. Eventually got change to another room and still room looks still bit old with chips on the furniture and cabinet. The bath robe was torn, bedsheets got stains( I have a picture taken if you would like to have one). Breakfast served was below average for Pullman standards. Glasses looks like it have not being properly wash with some residue visible on the glasses. Also on the day of departure i had to call for 5 times to request for a replacement of iron as the one available in the room is broken. Unfortunately after waiting for more than 1 hour still there's is none given as replacement. Of all the Pullman I have stayed this was the worst stay ever in Malaysia.

Hotel staff were fruendly and pleasant and even gave us an upgrade to an executive suite, which was lovely except for sore lack of power points.

Unfortunately, the house-keeping standards are lacking. On second day, they did not give us hand and bath towels. They told me they ran out of hand towels! And the bath towel smelled bad due to dampness.

The TV remote had no batteries and toilet amenities were sorely lacking even basic items like body lotion n shower cap. We also had to call for replenishment of tissue paper.

It would be a good place to stay in if more attention is paid to house-keeping.
