We stumbled upon this museum by accident and we're glad we did. It is small but crammed full of very interesting information regarding the Chinese cultural group in Kuching. You learn who they were where they came from and how different groups specialized in different jobs and where thy settled. It helped me to understand Kuching - how it is so different than many other communities in Malaysia. When you are walking along the river take some time and drop in here - it is definitely worth it.

As a Malaysian Chinese, I find it informative as it provides a detail on Chinese of different Ancestry in Sarawak, which also cover most of the Chinese in Malaysia. However, some audio clip push button are spoiled during my visit. It is air-conditioned.
