We visited Mauritius in June'17 for our honeymoon. Probably it is the best time to visit. The bookings were done from traveltriangle.com. It included to and fro flights + resort + sightseeing.
The resort is located in the extreme west end of Mauritius. We had chosen the superior sea-front room which was on the 1st floor. We stayed for 5 days here.
We were welcomed with a mock-tail and a wet towel to make ourselves relaxed from the tiredness of the journey.
The view from the room was great. From the balcony, we could view the Indian ocean! It was amazing.
There are various leisure options like swimming pool, gym, chess, tennis etc. It has a small playhouse too for children.
Beach-chairs and umbrellas are laid throughout the place. The peaceful atmosphere can be enjoyed at night and the sound of the waves amplifies the awesomeness of the time.
Coming to the food, it was great. We had an option of various cuisines including Indian cuisines everyday. For non-vegetarian people, the variety is way too high. On an average, there are around 10 desserts included in the buffet, most of them had eggs as one of the ingredient. So, if you are a pure vegetarian, ask for the egg-less ones beforehand.
The room quality was superb. One thing to keep in mind is that they provide 500ml water bottles per day per person, which is way less than required. The water in the menu card is too costly, so we used to buy the water bottles from a nearby shop.
Yes, there are some small shops nearby where you can buy stuffs required for daily needs.
The staff is very courteous and disciplined.
There are water-activities like scuba-diving, kayaking, glass-boat ceiling etc. being provided in the resort, of course at an extra cost. There is a small souvenir shop too in the resort. Also, a spa center is there in the resort, which we did not visit.
We have surely packed a truckload of memories while staying here and enjoying the place on our honeymoon.

Bottom line: the resort is great, go ahead and consider this one if you are planning for a Mauritius trip.

Take a look at the photos and enlighten yourself more !

Room Tip: superior sea-front

Spent 6 Nights there with Family. From the day of Arrival till our departure we experienced the most beautiful hospitality one could have asked for. The Kitchen Staff in Particular was the icing over the cake. Chef Naga & Chef Salim & their teams were excellent. Excellent food served to us during our entire stay & both the Chefs ensured we were taken good care of. One of our Family member has been advised by doctors to have baby food (without any chillies in particular) & the Chefs & their team gave their best to ensure that the patient was taken good care of. Not a single day any of the menu was repeated for the baby food as well. A special Thank you for the Kitchen Staff. All the hotel staff were the best for hospitality. The rooms & the Resort are excellently managed by a group of thorough professionals , be it for the cleanliness, food, entertainment, anything you name it & they are best at it.

Highly recommended to pay a visit there & enjoy their hospitality & services.

Spent 5 days here - Must say the resort and it's service is amazing. Great food served everytime and this is considering I am a vegetarian with a preference for Indian food. At the same time they have a wide range of non veg served in Indian and Continental cuisine. In short the food served was one of the highlights apart from very friendly and super efficient staff and great rooms. Resort facilities are very good (pool, beach side, water sports, bar, a separate beer and Burger bar and great landscape). Highly recommend this property.

Tip: Go for the breakfast+dinner combo as this is excellent and with no great options nearby it saves you a lot of time and effort.

Sharing a picture taken by me, friends mistook it to be a postcard pic/ from Google but that really is the resort :). Unable to upload more for now but those are equally breathtaking.

We stayed 1 night at Anelia on half board basis. The check-in was quick and we came to the hotel late afternoon after a full day driving through Chamarel and Baie Du Cap. We were welcomed with a nice welcome drink and refreshing towel. The hotel has a spacious parking guarded by security.

We room itself was smaller compared to our previous stay in the east coast. We stayed in the previous room type back when the hotel used to be Klondike. However, the room was recently renovated and I'd still prefer this room to the new rooms around the main pool. The room was beachfront, meaning you could have a proper sea view right from the large balcony we had and you could also hear the waves at night. The rooms were clean with adequate amenities and toileteries. We were also given bath robes and towels were clean. The bed was also comfortable and bed linen were clean.

Dinner was delicious with a large variety of food options, the restaurant staff Sharon Ng was also very attentive to our requests and she was nice and polite. Though the buffet was large, I found the setting in the buffet room could be better organized as a proper hotel and not a wedding reception style. I was impressed by the nice warm farata from the live cooking station but dessert was poor. The cocktails also seemed to have less alcohol than usual even if we informed the waitress about that on our second order. Breakfast was also nice with a lot of food options to choose from, however the hotel should consider a proper toaster for the bread as a lot of people were having issues with the current one. Mine was not toasted on first attempt and burnt on the second attempt so I gave up. They had a live band that night and the singer was amazing. We enjoyed the evening.

The property is nice, not crowded and although you cannot really swim in front of the hotel, they have a long beach stretch where you can have a walk in the sand. Both infinity pools looked inviting but we did not try them due to lack of time.

We may come back in the future and would definitely recommend Anelia.

Room Tip: Take the beachfront room rather than the new pool rooms as they have a better sea view even if they...
