We popped in for a drink (non-alcoholic). The rooftop is fun and colourful, with good ocean views. Service was friendly. We decided not to eat as really we were after sundowners.

The hotel interiors looked fun and well designed, but we didn't see any of the rooms.

Wow! This hotel is definitively something very special. Every single detail here is beautifully and tastefully designed. Each room is different. We had a junior suite, and is was a real joy for us being there. The pictures on the hotel's website speak for themselves, but reality is even better. The hotel as a whole is just a piece of art. What is as important is the fact that the stuff have made the big step from good service to heart warming hospitality. They were friendly and helpful with all our requests to make our days special. The breakfast was also a nice experience, prepared for us at the roof terrasse, with a great view over the Atlantic. When we asked about the breakfast time, the answer was "you eat breakfast when ever you like". Transport from there to the Marrakech airport was also arranged smoothly and at a reasonable price.
What more can I say? Hurry up and visit this nice place. We will certainly come back.

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the 3rd floor with sea view

My husband and I spent four nights in the Fez room (each room has a name and different decorating scheme) at Salut Maroc at the end of our 25 day trip around Morocco. It was the nicest of all the hotels we stayed in. We particularly liked:
- the great staff. They went out of their way to help with everything we could need, be it bringing blankets so we wouldn’t be cold when relaxing on the roof terrace, or putting on breakfast at 5:30am on our final day so we could eat before we left
- the big copper bath which was deep enough to completely submerge yourself, and there was lots of hot water (something we found scarce at many other places)
- the armchair in the room so you have somewhere to sit other than the bed
- the really comfortable bed
- the roof terrace with live music in the afternoons, and both inside (if cold) & outside tables and chairs to sit at, plus the low tables and lounges.
There were a few downsides however:
- although the massive bath is fantastic, the shower is over the bath and may be a little hard for some to get into. The shower also sprays water all over the floor as well as in the bath, which was a little annoying
- no wardrobe space or place to put your bags. Also not a lot of floor space, which meant you couldn’t leave suitcases open and live out of them either.

But on the whole, it was a great hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.

We were strolling through the Medina and discovered this beautiful boutique hotel by accident. The staff were incredible friendly and even showed us some rooms on the way to the rooftop. We decided to have a sundowner there and wow: what an experience! Next time we are in Essaouira, we are definitely booking a room here!!!

Recently openened, at Medina ocean front. We walked by and were drawn in by the bright modern artistic interior design*; rooms with spectacular ocean views; fun rooftop terrace with panorama, friendly service. - We missed the chance to stay this time but will be back. Even if Essaouira alone weren't worth the trip, this hotel would be in and by itself.
(* hard to describe. Though certainly far from the traditional riad style)

Room Tip: Ocean front! feels like being one with the ocean, seagulls and sunset
