The French lady host (I believe she is called Karol) was very very helpful. She gave us a bigger room when we only paid for a standard double room as with the baby cot, the standard room would have been would have been tight for space. The right is in heart of medina so ideal for shopping.
The breakfast was brilliant on the terrace with lovely views of Medina and the ocean. She also recommended good places to eat. She also extended the checkout time for us for free.
We had a room on 2nd floor 'Lilas', the adjacent property wall restricted the view and more importantly prevented the air flow which can on a humid/warm night cause problem, so air conditioning unit would be a useful amenity.
One odd thing (for us atleast) was that the toilet/bathroom was not fully enclosed from the bedroom i.e. the ceiling was open and connected for bath and bedroom. We didn't like this feature as flushing is noisy and the smell entering the bedroom after toilet visit. Not sure whether it is a design/architecture feature but did not like this. Only 2 of the rooms in the Riad have fully enclosed/sealed toilets, so bear in mind when booking if this design is a problem.More
