The waiter couldn't find our booking, so not an enthusiastic welcome. Once the booking had been found, (FOH had expected us the day before, despite the day being clear in our email exchange) a big apology ensued. It's a pleasant place to sit, small with interesting decoration. The front of house guy was friendly and the waiter attentive . We were presented with bread and olives and then a rather delicious cauliflour with cream taster. We chose the Moroccan soup - 'The soup for both of us, please.' Unfortunately the waiter's English interpreted that as one soup between two, placed in the middle of the table, which was a little tricky as it included vermicelli. However, it was very tasty. Note to selves on the ambiguity of language. Main courses were enjoyable, but I was disappointed that the fish of the day wasn't available at 7.00pm. I had the monk fish which was good, but not outstanding. Partner was very pleased with his. Would visit again.
