This Riad offers luxurious elegance with stunning views of the ocean from some of the rooms and the terrace. Wow! There just can't be too many places like this in Morocco.

I had the wonderful Akoya suite on the 2nd floor, which was very spacious, elegantly and comfortably furnished, and has stunning ocean views from the two windows. The bed was very comfortable. Guests have the wonderful inner courtyard experience typical of a Riad, but combined with the amazing ocean views, this becomes a spectacular place to stay.

Ernst and Giselle are wonderful on site owners and make sure that guests have a great experience. Ernst served breakfast himself on the terrace which also has amazing ocean views. The breakfast was very good. Bouchra was also very helpful before and after my stay.

The Medina of Essaouira is not big, and the riad is very well located. I visited in November, and it was windy, but not all that much and it didn't bother me.

Staying at the Riad Perle d'Eau is an experience not to be missed!

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the ocean!

We literally stumbled upon this charming Riad, and we are so glad we did. It was the best place we stayed in Morocco. The views from our room and the upstairs deck was absolutely stunning. It is right on the ocean so you can watch the tide come in and go out. Our room itself was perfect. A comfortable bed, a sitting area and a well laid out bathroom. The owners of this Riad were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious, you can get a massage or hammam on site AND they have a license so you can have a glass of wine on the deck!

Well my partner and I, were looking for a get away for a week, somewhere a little different.. We fell in love with pictures of this little riad and decided to email them to enquire! We had an instant response and very friendly. We booked the room for a week and as soon as we arrived we were looked after and the service was superb to say the least.
The breakfast every morning was beautiful and very well cooked and portions were ample to get us through to dinner! We dined one night at the riad as we like to sample different restaurants, ( which were all in the vicinity of the riad, which was great!) and the homemade chicken tagine was wonderful! The hammam for two is a must, and it is all within the riad premises and is fairly priced.
Ernest and his wonderful team are a delight and they made our holiday, from helping to book taxis to advice as to where to go!
We felt that this was a perfect getaway for a couple, it was quite, calm and very relaxing.

It was delightful to experience our stay here during our stay in Morocco. Morocco is a study in many contrasts. Behind the modest doors of this riad was a beautiful place where the owners have paid every attention to detail. Their standards are high across the board both in design food and hospitality. We even bought some of their current pressing of olive oil from their 90 trees! The rooftop breakfasts overlooking the Atlantic were a delightful way to start each day before venturing out into the medina.

One of the highlights of our journey. You cannot go wrong with this place. It's a magical little paradise in the middle of the town. Best rooftop breakfast you can imagine with the best views in Morocco. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. My wife and I went back and forth about doing the Hamam at the Riad and am so HAPPY that we did. We did the 2-hour treatment 1 hour Hamam and scrub and 1-hour massage and both were amazing and not to be missed highlights of this Riad. We do regret not having booked the meal with them as we heard it was also well worth it.
