La Chèvre Gourmand is a good choice when you’re visiting the Médina in Essaouira. The food is good, the restaurant cozy, the service great and the people working there are super nice.

I especially recommend the starter with goat cheese ice cream, btw. Yummy!

We came here twice for drinks & desert (I'm sorry we didn't come for full dinner!) we really loved the relaxed atmosphere and the eclectic mix of vintage furniture. We enjoyed local wine and a couple of cocktails.

My daughter Natasha and I ate lunch here the week before Christmas. We loved the place and the food. And the wine! Owners super helpful with recommendations for where to eat in Marrakech. We love Essaouira and will certainly return. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic location. great chic but relaxed atmosphere...probably the most interesting
mix of people. ages, nationalities in this multi culture UNESCO town ...and very attractive. attentive staff' both local and French, with a interesting fusion of local delicacies including goat cheeses. sardines. homemade glaces.inspired with French & Moroccan traditions.

A place to hang out, relax.after touring the Medina, for a glass of wine...excellent coffee as well.

I am not an alcoholic.I even like milk. But I enjoy a drink and wine for dinner.Surprise ,surprise ,just a few days prior to christmas dinner, the owner of the pleasant eatery,Corentin Bouverot, annnounced that from now on he was able to serve alcoholic beverages---legaly,for sure, after a lot of bueraucratic entanglements.I ordered a "Gewuerztraminer",a rarity in these parts of the world, just a glass, and my friend, was delighted to discover a Kir Imperial....a drink to celebrate the new year, since we survivied, despite Trump,2017.The Kir was delicious, the ingredient imported form Bourgogne, the balnc de blanc,a champagne Ersatz from the Atlas mountains. As I mentioned,I can survive without a drink, but the nice smell, the beautiful taste,is stimulatingenchanting, particulary in the decorative spirit of the Chevre Gourmande.
