I did the full day combo tour, started off on the boat, the crew were excellent and with a whistle we had a few Pelicans on board as well as seals. We were shown seal island, oyster farming and with the sea been bad we missed out on the Walvis Bay Lighthouse. Brunch was great, and so was the " NAMIBIA COFFEE ",that what they call a SHERRY here. Very safe and would be fun for the kids as you can touch and feed the seals on board. We arrived back to go with the tour guide ( 4 of us in a bakkie ) our guide was great loads of fun driving in between the dunes stopping to dig for sand lizards and then viewing the most awesome dunes and sea from high above, had lunch and feed some mice. All round excellent experience.

Brilliant trip for the whole family. If you have not done a trip along the Atlantic ocean I would definitely advise you to visit Laramon tours. They have excellent knowledge of the harbour and sea life along the Walvisbay / Swakopmund coastline.

This three hour trip is definitely worth your while. Well equipped with seating along different sections of the catamaran, you are sure to have a panoramic view of the ocean and all the activities in, and around the harbour.

Drinks are served throughout the trip with a snack platter towards the end. The platter includes a multitude of refreshments amongst which my favourite were, fresh oysters and champaigne.

Blankets are available on board for when the strong south-western wind picks up. They also have life jackets, which is essential for little ones going about the boat.

I love the fact that they stop at various intervals of the cruise to explain certain things and give some details of what you see. There are also seals en pelicans that come on board for some food or just to show off :)

A truly wonderful and relaxing trip for the whole family. Remember to take your camera and sunscreen.

We were picked up around 8 am from our Swakopmund accommodation and transferred to Walvis Bay for the three hour cruise around the bay. The group was too large for everyone to fit onto a single catamaran, so the organisers separated those wanting a German-speaking guide / skipper from the rest of us (with an English-speaking guide / skipper). Still not enough people on the German-speaking boat, so there was a request for volunteers for the German boat - the two of us volunteered after being assured that the German-guide would also translate into English. A good decision, since we were thus on a boat with fewer people and with a very interesting and highly competent guide.
A most enjoyable morning, being entertained in particular by the seal that climbed on board and the numerous pelicans and seagulls that landed on the deck in search of fish. A very nice, early, buffet lunch provided on board (including fresh oysters, which unfortunately neither of us eat).
Only negative comments: the water was too choppy to allow us to take any decent photos or video clips of the large seal colony on the sandbank out in the bay - suppose there is little the skipper could do about that. Secondly, the flamingos were very beautiful on the sandbank, but the boat did not stop to allow us to admire and photograph them.

Dear WorldwideAtraveler
Thank you for your submission and feedback on our tour.
It is unfortunate that the skipper did not find time to have you take pictures of the flamingos, but hopefully you'll be back again someday to do just that.
All the best for 2017
Kind regards
