David Panama does not seem to have many good restaurants. This one may be good at pizza, (there were huge stacks of empty Pizza Boxes) but the steak was below average.

We ate here at 6:00 p.m. on a Friday night and only 3 tables out of maybe 15 were filled.

We got two empenadas (Argentinian meat filled pastry) which were good and a small steak, which while well flavored and cooked rare (the way I like my steak), it was one of the toughest I have ever eaten.

It's important to note that I always try to order the dish that the restaurant is selling a LOT of. This is usually the something at the top of the menu and usually a lower priced item.

I'm pretty sure my steak was good nutrition for me, but if you decide to eat here make sure to order food that they are selling a LOT of.

The food was bland. The Alfredo was just ok even though there were ample shrimp. My wife's filet mignon was not filet mignon, not cooked to the correct temperature and was wrapped in raw bacon FAT(no actual meat) and smothered in canned mushroom mush. The caprese salad had under ripe tomatoes, dry hard mozzarella, dry flake basil and no balsamic. It wasn't worth the energy wasted to chew it. The manager stood behind the counter pretending to be busy as the only waitress scrambled to keep up. The waitress was attentive and did a great job condidering she was alone and getting no help from the manager. It took 10 minutes to place our order and another 10 to get our beers, the only value at $1.00. The manager should have been expediting drinks but he sat and twiddled his thumbs. To further detract from the customer experience an apparent friend of the chef arrived and the chef proceeded to fawn over him and his girlfriend instead of preparing meals for the awaiting customers. All in all a flat to negative dining experience!!!

The food was very good, service was excellent as they had to help us interpret the menu. Prices reasonable. Good wine too. Make sure you checkout the 3 different sizes of the pizza, the large one is enormous! The decor could be much better though.

If you want to take a girl out in David to eat, this is the place to go.

Owned by Argentinians, this restaurant's unassuming entrance belies both the amazing food the cook here and the size of the restaurant itself. I'm not a big steak eater, so I can't comment on the filet mignon that the Argentineans are so famous for, but the have amazing pizza and calzones! For the quality of the food, the prices are fairly inexpensive - on calzon is big enough to feed two people! The service is excellent and the ambience is romantic, with low lighting and no flatscreen on the wall. They also have a very good wine selection. I recommend you pick a table in the unairconditioned open area - if you go in the evening, it will be cool enough not to feel hot. The closed off AC section has both the distracting flatscreen and harsher lighting.

This place is great. The vibe is nice and they offer fresh air seating with fans or an air-conditioned room if you want. The empanada started are delicious, but the best part is the pizza. Best pizza in David so far! Medium-thin crust and plenty of cheese. The calzones are also great--absolutely huge and very reasonably priced. My only small disappointment was that the bacon on the menu was actually Canadian bacon. Still very yummy though. The prices are reasonable and the menu extensive--it covers a lot of ground, but I believe that the kitchen is capable of producing great versions of everything on it.
