This property was gorgeous. The pier out to the water was a little sketchy but great for a walk and sunset/sunrise views. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great and the items off of the snack menu were great too.

Cons: it's a little far away from things so you have to take a cab wherever you go but it's not that bad. Also, they will nickel and dime you. A bottled water elsewhere is 5 soles, they were charging 10. The snacks and drinks in the mini-bar were also way overpriced. The worst part - you could use the free wi-fi or the premium wi-fi for 30 soles a day. The free wi-fi was junk. I dont know how well the premium wi-fi was.

This is a lovely hotel, peaceful and with epic views of Lake Titicaca. We liked being able to walk down to the hotel's own pier to catch our boat tour. Rooms were fine, although ours did not have views. Service in the hotel and in the restaurant is good. One drawback is that you're not in walking distance to town, so we ended up eating dinner at the hotel restaurant which is quite overpriced. The next night we took a taxi to and from downtown Puno and had a much better meal. We also had some trouble with the Wifi, but you don't go to Lake Titicaca to stare at a screen so it didn't matter much.

So this hotel, is certainly not up to standards of a luxury hotel. It is a basic hotel for one's stay in the Lake Titicaca area. Relatively clean, average motel type of room set up with basic beds, bathroom, and oxygen outside the room if needed. The hotel is close to the lake, so we were picked up right at the dock for our journey to see the Uros people. There seems to be nothing else around the lake with better accommodations and so this is fine for a night's stay.

The restaurant has excellent service and food and is superior to the rest of the hotel.

Unfortunately, our staff was average at best. We had a nice view of the lake, with a very small balcony. Only one chair on the balcony. The bed was comfortable. The room was dated with the needing cleaning or replacing. The amenities were nice although the hair dryer did not work. There was a refrigerator in the room which was handy. The room lacked amenities that you expect in quality hotel such as 110 outlets. There were outlets by the bed though. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were less than adequate. We had a light dinner in the bar area one day and it was good with nice service.

The hotel is nice staff is great. The hotel is located in front of lake Titicaca, but far away from the centre of Puno. So, if you want to rest and stay in the hotel, this is the perfect place, because there's nothing to do around the hotel. I'd rather stay in the centre of Puno next time.
