We were looking for some traditional Filipino dish until we saw this restaurant. Everything we ordered was worth it, it was a sumptuous meal. Staff were very accommodating.

It is conveniently located inside Newport Mall. A good place to meet and dine with friends. The crab is kinda pricey but the other food is not but of course since this a crab restaurant, then we must order the crab :) They offer different ways to cook the crab and we opted for the fried with lots of garlic as the waiter said that was their specialty. It was kinda messy due to the oil, we could have steamed as the meat won't stick to the shell if it was steamed. Over-all, it was fun and worth it.

The servers were very pleasant but clearly had no idea on how to serve. I appreciate I am judging by western standards in a Asian country but in a mall in Newport City where on the surface aspirations are high one would think that some basic training would be standard.

The servers stand around and apart from chatting and giggling with each other do very little. One waiter put a small serving stand on his head to bring to another customers table, hardly hygienic. Another waiter went on his mobile whilst standing around. We had to ask for the menu to choose a dessert. The menu came but then nobody came to ask if we wanted to order.

We had an issue with a dish we ordered from the seafood section. There was a list of ingredients under the dish we ordered, so we thought we knew what we were getting. When it arrived the biggest ingredient was pork, of which there had been no mention. Plus it was in the seafood section??? We complained, several waiters gathered round our table and looked mystified as we explained we did not eat pork and if that is a major ingredient it should be mentioned in the description of the dish. We had to ask for the menu to chose an alternative and for the original dish to be taken away, all the while our other two dishes were getting cold.

Little wonder 10% service charge is automatically added to the bill. The servers have no incentive to try. With this level of service they certainly wouldn't be getting any tips!

The food was good however and this is the only reason why I haven't rated this restaurant poor.
