Our stay at the hotel is very good and we stayed there twice this year. The swimming pool is very small and it is ok if there are not many people who are there but if you are more than ten persons there, then it is not nice to get in. You allso have to wait a long time for a drink due to the personell must go down to get your order. There WIFI is good and was able to use it. The AC is noisy and unstable. The breakfast was excellent when we were there. Very nice personell working there specially in the restaurant.

Room Tip: I can recommend this place specially if you like to go shopping att the Mall of Asia.

Good points
--very good service by its accommodating and hospitable hotel staff; didn't encounter hassles upon check-in and check-out because the staff were quick to serve the guests when they see a queue unlike Sofitel Philippine Plaza; good restaurant, nice elevator, very nice room view, big room, big beds; fantastic bay/sea view

Weak point
--pricing of the room should be lower; its hotel rate is the same or almost at par with other five star hotel already; wi-fi signal in the room was bad though the hotel website states that wi-fi is available at its lobby

Room Tip: Get the sea view room. The view is just fantastic and marvelous.

The overall experience in this hotel is good. Service is top notch, staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are spacious, but I wish they would include free WiFi service in rooms and not just in the lobby. Breakfast is ok too. My only complain is with the noisy A/C unit and its dirty filters. I cleaned the filters myself because it took the staff quite a while to go to my room.

stayed here for the third time just because of its convenience to SMX convention center. service is not getting better though. front desk clerks should be trained more on being alert, attentive and give priority to who is first in line. it's not because the person behind me is a foreigner or a nice looking lady that they had to attend to them rather than me, a short, plain looking Filipina who had been waiting for my turn and being first in line.
well, what's nice is they had let us checked us in earlier than 2pm.And the security guy helped us with wifi connection.

Room Tip: book online.

We stayed at Microtel Mall of Asia during the Pyro Musical Olympics in May of this year. The rooms were okay but parking was HORRIBLE. The guards were extremely rude and disrespectful, even cocky. We booked two rooms and weren't even allowed to enter the parking lot until we could show proof that we were already checked in. Hello? Don't we need to park our car so we could check in? Never stay at this hotel if you're bringing a car.. Don't book conferences or even hold meetings there because they'll give you hell at the parking area. This is the first time I've seen a hotel like this. Really shocking. We tried telling the front desk about what happened but they really did not do anything about it. I'm never going back there again. Sorry. :-(

We appreciate your taking the time to post a review following your stay with us last May. We do understand your frustration of not being able to avail of our parking service. The influx of people who watched that Pyrolympic event caused a major parking problem not only in our hotel but the entire Mall of Asia complex. Due to the hotel’s limited parking slots we were unable to accommodate all guests who brought with them their vehicles. Even the Mall of Asia’s building parking and huge open parking areas could not handle the volume of vehicles. We noted though your comment on the behavior of our security personnel and be assured that we will take the necessary corrective action.
