I have stayed at this hotel with my wife
for 5nights from 3rd Feb. First of all they have a really helpful and kind staffs and good private beach and pool just 30sec from front desk.

Let me take this opportunity to thank all hotel’ staffs.

At first, I would like to thank Ms.Miko who works at front desk. My wife bought a bikini in Japan before departure date but it wasn’t delivered to us by mistake of logistics service company. She listened to the story with kindness between logistics service company and us.

Mr. Clyde has really sharp mind and kind who works dinner bar on 2nd floor. We have got many helpful informations about local shopping mall and the way to enjoy hotel. Thanks to him we really enjoyed our staying at this hotel.

And we’ d like to thank Ms. Rochelle and Mr. Bryan who works restaurant The Sails’ on ground floor. They recommend to us good wine for dinner as we want to enjoy wine for the last night honeymoon in Cebu 7th Feb. We have enjoyed our last night thanks to them.

Mr. Nico and Ms. Em who works at lobby area and coffee shop were helpful also.

We really enjoyed our honeymoon with you.
Thanks to all staffs!

Best regards,
Yongtae Lee&Yasuyo Otani

I got a 2 bedroom suite for $450 per night. At this price you would expect a room comparable to HI. The room was clean but the bathrooms, there were 2, and both had molds in the shower, around the sink and in the masters, in the bathtub! I was so grossed out and couldn't take a shower in the master bathroom. The other bathroom was a little bit better. We wanted to move but learned that that was the only remaining 2 bedroom suite. Food was so expensive too. We ate at the hotel's restaurant that is similar to Fogo de Chao - same cost but food wasn't as good. Breakfast buffet is $20 per person and since I did not book in advance the breakfast for one of my daughters, I was charged $24. I mean I'm staying at the hotel, that should have been considered! The beach is not that nice, it is man made. The spa is also very expensive, rate run for 1.5 hrs about $140. We did scuba diving which also cost around $160 which is almost the cost in HI. The staff though are very friendly everywhere, from the waiters, the bellhop, the receptionist, the masseuse at the spa, and especially the staff at the scuba dive center!

Dear ritzysanchez,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

We are deeply concerned about your review and we regret that our hotel's design and facilities didn't appeal to your taste. We understand that each one has his/her own preferences when it comes to design, ambiance, experience, and accommodation.

Regarding your concern about the room offered, we wish to share that our 99 sqm. Two Bedroom Suite is one of the biggest category suites among international chain hotels in the region, and the rate offered was the best available package as the hotel was on full occupancy status at that time.

On your comment about the beach, we wish to explain that while the beaches in hotels and resorts along Mactan are all man-made, we ensure that the scenery resonate a relaxing and comfortable ambiance --- from the layout, clean waters and greenery.

Regarding your comment about the bathroom, we did an investigation and we wish to share that the bathrooms in our 2-bedroom suites have dark mosaic tiles and not molds. We apologize if these were not pleasing to your eyes. We wish to add that we are also in the process of renovating these bathrooms to change the tiles, to improve the overall motif and ambiance.

We regret that you felt differently about our our culinary offers. We also understand that you may have your own preferences in terms of flavors and taste, when it comes to food quality and selections.

In relation to your comment about the breakfast rate, we went through the system notes and we found out that considering that there was no breakfast included for your companions in the original booking, our staff offered you a special package rate, which is lower than the regular breakfast buffet rate.

We wish to share that our rates for dining and spa services are within the same range as with other private establishments of the same category, as well as those that are located in international chain hotels like ours.

We also wish to clarify that the water sports packages are not owned, managed nor operated by the hotel. They are booked through a third-party service, who is also the same provider in the rest of the hotels and resorts in the island. All the packages and rates they offer to our guests are all the same as what they offer to those staying in other properties.

On another note, it is a delight to hear positive feedback about the friendliness and efficiency of our staff.

Thank you, once again, for your feedback. We wish you wonderful days ahead.

Kind regards,

What a fun, vibrant, and hip hotel. I wish I could of stayed longer but I wanted to visit the waterfalls and traffic was hell in Cebu. Anyways, back to the hotel. The hotel was a short 15min drive from the airport and we were greeted by a Movenpick representative and our car was waiting when we arrive. Upon arrival to the hotel, check in was easy, although our room wasn't ready. No worries though, we sat at the pool side restaurant and had drinks and a few appetizers while we waited. Within the hour, our room was ready and we entered, oh what a surprise. Two very comfortable double beds, a lovely bathroom with all the amenities, and a small balcony area with a table and chair. The next night, after our trip to the waterfalls, we headed to the Ibiza lounge for a bite to eat. We ordered drinks (of course) and the tapa special (it was okay). While we were eating, we were blessed with a disco show, which was very entertaining. The performers did an excellent time. My next visit to Cebu and Movenpick hotel will include sitting lazy on the private beach, an all day spa day, and the best meal they offer on the menu.

My family and I stayed overnight at this hotel; got a good price at Booking.com for the Suite King Atrium view. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to the ocean view...sweet!

The reception area is bright and airy. There's a lot of couches and chairs for people waiting to check-in/room/check-out.

The room was spacious except that the bed was too small for a king size; more like a queen bed.

The staff are remarkably friendly, nice, and accommodating. My daughter and I enjoyed the beach and the pools. I love that there are enough shampoo at the shower room so you can clean yourself decently after.

The breakfast buffet spread has a lot to offer. I enjoyed the choices.

I'll definitely consider going back again.
