We stopped by on a quiet rainy afternoon and did a tasting with Kristen. It was a wonderful experience. She is very knowledgeable about the wines and could discuss with us the various flavors of the wine. She told us about the grapes and the winery. She was very engaging and helpful about sights to see in the area. The wines we tasted were very good. We highly recommend a stop at Long Point if you are in the area.
Writing this while enjoying the Red Zinfandel I brought home from this winery. Owner and staff obviously take great pride and care in their craft. If you’re lucky you’ll spot their super cute golden retriever, and even luckier if you get Russ pouring your tastings - favorite of the whole day ❤️
Thank you so much for taking care of the large Wells Group this past Sat afternoon. We had a fantastic time. Kudos to the chef, the sandwiches were amazing. The Focaccia especially! Thanks for giving us a great memory as we said good-bye to our dear old Wells College. You can't go wrong coming here to sip wine while sitting and basking in the views of the grapes and Cayuga Lake. Don't miss out if you are in the area!
Visited here as 1 of 16 wineries on our annual road trip to the Finger Lakes. Pros: very friendly young male server; tasting was outside with a beautiful view of Cayuga Lake. Cons: very tiny plastic wine tasting cups; no water was given. Server advised that they are known for their dry reds. I tried the merlot, zin, syrah, rubitage, and cab. They seem to need a little more development to become full bodied. The only wine I enjoyed was the Cabernet Sauvignon 2017.
We visited this winery as part of our boat tour. They came to the dock and picked us up and then returned us back after our visit. Our host was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about their wine. He took the time to understand our tastes and suggested wines that we might like based on what we shared with him. We enjoyed our visit here and would return again.
With a group of friends, we had an early afternoon winetasting. All of the wines were quite good and the information provided with the tasting was helpful (tasting only cost $10, 4 samples - generous samples).. Glad to have arrived early - it got quite busy as we moved outside to enjoy a bit more wine and the beautiful views! Picnic tables under a tent were a welcome option for hanging out and visiting with others. A beautiful afternoon!
