Ok, you haven’t come to Kaliningrad to sightsee. You’ve come for business or football. And here’s another surprise. A small island with a beautiful cathedral. Time didn’t allow a visit inside but worth the external view alone.

The church is the best preserved building of the old Königsberg. A real must see when visiting Kaliningrad. Immanuel Kant's tomb is situated on the left when coming from Leninskiy Prospekt.

I was walking around the Cathedral and didn't go outside but it was really nice experience, surrounded by river and green area. You should pay a visit to this unique feature.

The cathedral was heavily damaged in World War II and only restored in the 1990s. The guide explained that it is no longer used for religious services. The cathedral has a gorgeous organ which is worth seeing, unfortunately, there was no concert when I was there. The cathedral and the gorgeous park area surrounding it which makes the area worthy of a visit.
