Nice restaurant frequented by russian people, proposing austrian and russian food. You eat listening classical music. Good and subtile meals (1000 roubles per person without meals).
Try the hot chocolate .... Excellent.

A cosy place with good service. I enjoyed the best Viennese Schnitzel outside Austria there and we discovered the very tasty local beer 'Nevskoje' there. Certainly worth a visit.

Opposite the metro station Gorkovskaya. Credit cards not accepted. This is a peaceful oasis. The menu is in English and service is delivered with a smile. The Viennese beef was so tender and full of flavour and my wife opted for the chicken in potato lattice which was equally first class. Large Russian beers at 110 Roubles and Capucchino at 120 Roubles show that quality can be delivered at affordable prices. We both went for the house speciality dessert of apple strudel which at 190 Roubles was a steal. Total bill was 1710 Roubles around £34 and in this city it offers true value. Will certainly go back again.

Very cosy café for brunch, unique combo food, music and interior. Tried Omelettes and pancakes. Asbolutely delicious. Dinner enu looks good, too. Priced half of the more posh places in the centre and food at least as refined, if not more.

This cafe has been opened for quite a time in a very complicated period, with lots of competing venues around. I like humour in their menu, classical music inside - but they could have spent some time in choosing more appropriate furniture. In the house where this cafe is located (the map is wrong - it is near Gorkovskaya station) once popular Russian and Soviet writer Gorky used to live (not Mozart) - so, probably those clumsy chairs (still in place - I have just seen them yesterday passing by, in December 2011) remind about this proletarian writer rather than about the Austrian genius
