The reception area was nothing to shout for but as we walked towards our room, we were impressed by how big the hotel was ... Each room has an unique suite name. Ours was a family suite with a single and queen sized bed and a separate games room. The Chinese furniture was a majestic setting but the bathroom was a big disappointment.
The shower booth was small and gaps between the doors meant a wet bathroom to be. There was no floor mat so we had to use a towel for the floor.
Other than that, the hotel is pleasant on the whole.
The Dong Jie next door sells street snacks and there are many souvenir shops nearby. Once we came back at 10.45 pm from a day trip out to Longmen Grottoes and we could still find a restaurant for our supper. So it's extremely convenient.More
