Stayed here to visit Terracotta Warriors and walls of Xi'an. Poor hotel with tired surroundings and equally tired looking staff. Rooms noisy (road traffic) and towels rather grey. Food in restaurant unimaginative and service matching food.
Good location and access to walls very easy, traffic MAD!!
Limited or often non exist ant wifi.

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Wendy Wu tour. Stayed on the 22nd floor and had a brilliant view of Xi'an, especially the beautiful city wall. The room was an excellent size, lots of space and had all the amenities that you would need on a trip. The staff were friendly and polite and I had no problems whatsoever.

We stayed 2 nights here as part of a package tour group. This is a large hotel located a little way outside the West Gate and appears to be well used by tour groups. The lifts can be overwhelmed when tours arrive, especially if a couple of groups arrive at the same time, and the breakfast area can be very busy indeed (they did their best to set up extra tables one morning when there were several tour groups). While the rooms were pleasantly spacious, it's a pity that the “rules” apparently provide that there can be no cooling before the start of summer, so things can get a bit warm if you get a hot day in spring (as we did). There's a computer with internet connection in the room, which was convenient.

a very good hotel .. well .. kinda big hotel .. even I wasn't able to cover all places inside it during my stay .. with big rooms but the service is not as good as the place itself but still acceptable
food quality is good (choose all sea food you can find there)
the location is great and you can walk to alot of wonderful places on foot from there

Room tip: choose rooms on higher floors (the street noise is not good) and choose the room on the street for the view

This was my second hotel I stayed in whilst in China. Again I have fairly similar comments to my other reviewed hotels. My bathroom was clean although the room itself was slightly unclean. The carpet needed a good clean! Whilst being on a non smoking floor, I could still smell stale smoke. From the three hotels this hotel was particularly bad.

Breakfast provided a good choice or cereal, pastries and fruit with good service from staff in providing tea and coffee and clearing tables.

This hotel was the only hotel which provided free wi-fi, which was great for getting in contact with people from home.

If I were to return to Xi'an I would stay in a more centrally located hotel, as it wasn't near any sites of interest.
