This is a unique photo opportunity. Several structures and monuments can be lined up and photographed through an arch-like portal.

The cenotaph is located at the central area of the peace memorial park. This is a tribute to the lost lives due to the A-bomb drop.
People offer their prayers here. The cenotaph is aligned with the burning flame, A-bomb dome in a straight line in the peace memorial park.
This location is very evocative and could make you overflow with emotions.

The Cenotaph is part of the Peace Memorial Park and is one of the many memorials to the lives lost. It is along the line where you can look through it and see both the eternal flame and the A-Bomb Dome. It's always nice to take some flowers to leave at this spot to honour those lives lost.

As part of the Peace park walk this offers a look at the dome and the peace flame all in one view., Very poignant and an evocative photograph to take home as a reminder of your visit.

Based in the middle of the park is the cenotaph, the Pond of Peace & the Flame.

A solemn place, with various plaques in different languages expressing their sorrows of the place.
