I stayed in Hana Hostel for one night and had a bunk bed. When I arrived early, I was informed that the room was not ready yet, but I could leave my luggage in the luggage room. Also, the staff settled my registration and showed me around the hostel.
There is a pretty large kitchen with free tea and coffee that you can brew. I enjoyed the genmaicha here. In this space, you can also interact with other guests. Wifi here is generally strong but it can disconnect you at times.
Like any hostel, you are expected to fit your own sheets in the bed, and remove them at check out. The bed was pretty comfortable and I liked that they provided curtains around the bunk beds for privacy and to block out the light in the event you want to sleep earlier than other bunk bed guests. The shower has soap and shampoo provided. If you didn't bring your own towel, you can rent one for ¥100.
Overall this was a pretty good stay, and I liked that Lawson's was just on the opposite street so it was easy to get breakfast.
