Stayed for three nights as a base while exploring the area. Located about 20 minute walk from Osaka Station or one stop on the Osaka Metro and then about 200 meter walk. Convenient if catching trains from Osaka or Shin Osaka station. Also easy access to other areas of Osaka. Rooms were usual size for Japan but enough space for two. Shower in room as hotel has bathing onsen on top floor. Lovely clean facility which we used each night. Good facilities for laundry etc as well. Free ramen noodles at night was nice for evening snack. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again as great facility.

We stayed in this hotel 4 nights, and enjoyed the usual benefits of a Dormy Inn (great public baths , free evening ramen, washing machines and microwave available in public spaces , room equipped with pajamas etc). The location is near a grocery store and about a 7 minute walk from subway and local train lines, (though not as near Umeda as the title might suggest) as well as near a great shopping street for local goods and reasonably priced dining. If you have mobility issues, there is an elevator down to both the train and subway lines, but it takes some detective work to find the entrances//The staff of the hotel is very responsive and eager to please. The hotel does not have the full perks of a Dormy “Premium” but is excellent value for the money and we would be glad to stay again. If you are a first time visitor to Japan , have large amounts of luggage and are very tall or large, you might find the rooms small, but we found them exactly as advertised (and larger than others within an urban Japanese setting.).

From check-in until check-out, we had a great stay. The onsens were so relaxing, it made this hotel perfect for getting over our jet lag. Rooms were clean and efficient, staff was friendly, onsens were soothing, location was close to train station. Highly recommend if you are coming to Osaka, which is an absolutely awesome city to visit.

Heard a lot of positives on this hotel and decided to try the place on my visit to Osaka.

1 - Room size, quite ok for hotels in Japan. Price wise, not that cheaper that Kyoto’s hotel. I kept hearing people telling me that between Osaka and Kyoto, Osaka is like super cheap.

2 - Location wise, it is pretty central to a lot of tourist attractions. But the place is abit out from the subway and buses.

3 - Perk wise would be the public onsen and free ramen at night.

4 - It is true, front desk would ask for yr keys once u leave the hotel for sightseeing.

We stayed here for one night. Many positives about the hotel despite small room:
- Although we could not check in earlier, we left our luggage in the hotel. When we got back in the evening, the staff have stored our luggage in our room. That was nice.
- Free shuttle to Osaka Station
- Onsen including an outdoor area and all the amenities you need to freshen up
- sauna
- free washing machine n detergent. Dryer is paid
- free ramen for supper
- good selection for breakfast
- room seems to be soundproof. No noise from street could be heard.
- good location to explore tenjinbashi shopping street. Close to train and subway station

All in all we were satisfied with our stay.
