We went swimming On Sunday the 20th . Had to get out of the pool every 25 min for a "15 min break" that lasted 22-26 min each then the last one kept us out for 25... min let us get back in for 5 min and then told us they were closing early and we had to get out and make our way to the dressing rooms this was 5;15 they close normally at 5;45 . Had 3 life guards that we could see but only had 2 on duty at any one time . Why could they not rotate one in and let one have the break without making us get out of the pool and sit on the side for 20 min plus .And the kiddy pool was closed . not sure why .

Morrow Mountain is an amazing treasure hidden in Stanly County. You can bike, hike, camp, fish and even rent canoes here! The view from the top is incredible on a clear day. This is a stop you have to make while in town!

We really enjoy coming here. We had a new campsite this time and enjoyed it a lot. We usually spend a day canoeing and fishing over at the hidden lakes. My only gripe this trip was the way we were treated returning the canoe. There was no adult supervision at the rental office or on the canoe dock and I felt that one young man was a bit disrespectful toward my family and I. I will go back but with as many older people (like myself) and young people with families, the customer service should be of higher quality.

We love this place. We have picnic lunches , walk the trails, or just hang out at the top of the mountain. It's a great place to spend a cool afternoon
