Pros - Good hotel with strategic location (for me) as I prefer staying in a busy nightlife area when in Kuala Lumpur. Roughly 10 mins walk to Jalan Alor which famous for street food and also bars along Bukit Bintang street. Cheap & clean room with comfy beds.
Cons - The day of our arrival, we stayed out (checked-in but not staying in the room) with all our stuff still with us. Upon check-in, we were given a room key which did not belong to what stated on the cardholder (of course I am not aware yet). Second night when we came back to the hotel, we were unable to open our room door. So, I approached the Front Desk and requested for my key to be validated, which in the first place I thought my room key was cancelled. However, when I went back to the room, I was startled that my room was an occupied room. As a fellow hotelier, I believe this is considered as a huge issue. I went back to the counter and asked "under what reason is my room taken?" with a little high tone since I am too tired and I have to come down for the SECOND time after treated badly on the first encounter and upon check-in (same guy). To my surprise, I was replied by the that front desk guy (not to mention the name) with no sorry. He even dared to tell me do not shout and calm myself with even higher tone. I respected the security-on-duty at that moment. He who did no wrong felt ashamed and sorry over mistake did by the other guy. He even escorted us to 'our own room'. Plus, I did not even receive a courtesy call after that issue. I shall give 5 star on my review if my issue was resolved well since other staffs were friendly and attentive.
Will I stay again? Yes.
