Stayed at the Furama Bukit Bintang for four nights, never again!
The photographs on websites are completely misrepresentative of the hotel, nothing like a four star hotel and more like a two star!
Starting with the positive, hotel is in a great location and the concierge staff attentive and friendly especially Anwar (head concierge).
Apart from that everything else is appalling from the standard of the rooms to the dining experience.
On checking in, even though we had booked a double quiet room we were given a twin room oppsasit the lift. After complaining, we were shown three different rooms the first was small with stained carpets and uncleaned bathroom. The second again with stained carpet and broken toilet lid and shower. Finally we were given a better room but were told this was an upgrade to the executive floor. The room was a little bit more as you would expect from a four star but offered only limited TV
channels, no BBC World or international movie channels.
The worst part of our stay was breakfast which was like feeding time at the zoo, food spillages everywhere, tables left uncleaned and absolute chaos. We have never seen anything like it!
We asked to have a later check out after all the issues we had and were told we had to pay for it.More
