The hotel is so near to the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) and it is possible to walk about 15 minutes from TBS to the hotel during the day (i do not recommend at night because the area seems so hollow even during the days). During my trip I didnt know the walking route is available for pedestrian so i took a Grab from TBS to the hotel (RM9).

Most of the frontdesk crews are not Malaysians (could be Filifinos) and i wasnt aware about this. So my big mouth kept on blabbering in Malays and the front receptionist looked at me cluelessly LOL (they seems unfriendly -no smiling smiling- and no communication skill so don't trouble yourself to politely talk about other than your reservation) so be prepared to speak broken English with them (well i was kind of taken aback because they were different than the hotel crew where i stayed in Manila 2 years ago; language was still a problem but they were friendly). However despite of the language and their less communication skill, they were kind enough to let me leave my backpack with the front desk because i checked in 4 hours earlier.

I booked a Superior Deluxe Double Room through a hotel booking site 2 days before the trip and the room was nice and comfortable and big enough for me. The queen size bed, linen and towel are clean and the air condition and the flat screen TV, both were functioning very well.

I couldnt find the iron facilities in the room; went out searching for them and found them in a locker near the elevator (Oh yes being an adventurous solo traveler, i love searching on my own for the things LISTED in the booking slip but no where to be found in the room). Cups with saucers (but no spoons - next time reminds me to bring some plastic spoons along) and coffee & sugar sachets are available in the room. You can find a hot water dispenser/cold/drinking water somewhere outside your room and there is one for each level. However no mini refrigerator inside the room just in case you want to keep some juice or food.

The bathroom, the toilet bowl and the sink bowl were clean. In the bathroom you can find the toothpaste and toothbrush sets, liquid body soap and handwash. The toilet is complete with portable bidet with brass shower holder and hose to proper and comfortable wash (easy to use for Wuduk). The water in the toilet was brownish. So check the quality of the water first before brushing your teeth. Use the drinking water instead or tapau some clean water from the drinking water dispenser outside the room.

For hot food, downstairs, you can find an Oldtown White Coffe restaurant and other local restaurants around the corner. Take note that the hotel's cafe IS the Oldtown White Coffee. The price of a breakfast set in the restaurant is reasonable so i think it is WISER to book the hotel package without breakfast. There is a 7 Eleven nearby.

FYI I dont think the hotel is a budget hotel. With RM119 per night for a queen size bedroom and without breakfast, I dont think this is a budget accommodation. Besides, who wants to take breakfast package with Oldtown White Coffee when you can find this franchise everywhere back in your town.

The hotel is suitable for travelers who have a reason to be in the area or to stay for a night before catching one of the transportation hubs in TBS. For a traveler going around with public transport, the hotel's area is far from the city centre.

While looking through the online information about this hotel, i found a picture mentioned this: "The hotel provides a free daily shuttle service. Details as follow: 10:00 - Free shuttle to Mid Valley & Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). 14:00- Free shuttle to Sungei Wang & Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS)." I dont think this service exist, because the next day when I checked out at 9.40am, none of the front desk crew mention about this service and they called a Grab for me instead.

Before i left i met the front desk leader??/manager?? (he could be a Malaysian but with the multi nationality of the hotel crews, i dont know anymore but thankgod he can speak good English) who called the Grab for me. He was friendly and helpful and that, at least leave me one reason to come back here, if i ever need to catch something in TBS again.

Room Tip: Best view - the one facing the TBS.. you can see the trains going by ;)

The location is not really strategic as not many restaurants are nearby. However they provide good and excellent service. Rooms are spick and span, gaining overall good review from the 35 participants of the field trip, including 34 university students and 1 lecturer.

Arrived lately due of bus arrival. Standard check out time is 12pm. But receptionist very helpful forgot their name. Not Chinese.
Allowed me to check out at 1pm. Ask for hair dryer. Sent me in few minutes.
Location is quite hard to find. Come by taxi but hard for him to find.
Room is OK for me. Toiletries quit complete. Room are clean.

I totally love the location of this hotel. It is so strategic. With tbs just around the corner and plenty of shops nearby had just make it easier for us. This is now our favourite go-to hotel whenever we want to travel anywhere. It is suitable for married couple like us.

Room Tip: Choose the corner room and room with better view as it is more spacious.
