Good loocation, very poor housekeeping service. 2 nights to go and can't wait to check out.
Bed sheets are torn. Housekeeping forgot to put towles one day and did'nt change the sheets the next day. TV channels are not setup properly, only 1 or 2 channels are working others need retunning. Got a smoking room and not an ash tray in sight. Bath tub needs repair and cleaning, shower curtain is filthy.

Thank L S

We had stayed at Swiss-Garden 5 years earlier and were very satisfied. Now in Kuala Lumpur for the second time I guess we had a bit higher expectations, and unfortunately this hotel did not live up to them. The location is still alright not too far to the shopping streets, and Chinatown as well as local food streets are nearby. The rooms, on the other hand, have aged significantly and are in need of a refurbishment. The breakfast was not what it used to be either; the basic options are there but that's it. And the bar with the entertainment was now almost empty on both nights. As there are many other excellent and cheap accommodation options available in KL, I would try one of those first.

Room tip: High floor perhaps, but they all seem quite similar.

Dear MakkiPakki

Thank you for coming back to Swiss-Garden however we are a little disappointed to hear that your 2nd time experience with us was not as pleasant as your 1st one. We have noted your comments however and shall work hard to rectify any area(s) of shortcoming.

Have a pleasant day.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I didn't really have a choice with the hotel since it was booked for me for a work trip. For this price, I'd have chosen somewhere else in the KL golden triangle area. Given, this hotel is closely located to Petaling St (KL's chinatown) about 10min walk along dusty busy road past an abandoned construction site and the busy messy Sentral bus station; and it is near Jalan Alor food street about 5min across the road and through that road to Bukit Bintang but at the older end so its not that great. I didn't feel too safe walking back after dinner. Other than that, it's not that close to anything else, and as previous viewers noted, i wouldn't advice to walk around the area too late at night and the cab driver at the hotel accost you once you're out.

Check-in was very slow, one of the slowest i've experienced - over an hour. I was assigned a smoking room (very heavy smoke smell) even though i asked for a non-smoking room. and had to wait close to half hour before someone came to change me to another room which was so much better.

The cleanliness of the room is passable. But i've had one day where there were old stains on the bath towel, another day there were holes in the bath towel - really, please change your old towels! We received newspaper every day which was good. No wifi in the room, only wired broadband which is chargeable at RM10 per 24hr. but you can get free wifi at the business lounge on 11 floor (this was not advertised i only found out when i asked the business lounge).

But this takes the cake... for two consecutive nights, the public announcement system went off around 2-3AM in the middle of the night. first night was some kind of indian music, second night was a sound check (test test... test test... and some malay words). i called up the front desk and apparently a few people had already called. two nights of disrupted sleep = two cranky early mornings. not the way to go for a working trip.

Dear Soj0urner

We are disheartened to learn of your negative experience during your business trip last month in which you stayed with us.

Location wise, we are quite centrally located and our friendly concierge team can assist you with transfer arrangements. However, we would like to clarify that the taxi drivers outside the hotel are unfortunately beyond our control. We have brought this matter up to the attention of the relevant local authorities and will continue to do so if and when a complaint arises.
In the meantime, we would recommend using the services of the hotel limo counter which provides much better taxis and the price is only marginally higher than normal taxis.

We are constantly training our front line associates to be more cognizant of the needs of our valued guests. However, the service you encountered does not reflect the premier service standards we deliver and any shortcoming is sincerely regretted.

Wi-Fi is available in the Residences and also all our F&B outlets for a very nominal fee.

The hotel is very nice - rooms are clean and large. Free internet access. The location is not great and not bad -- just okay... not super close to mass transit and everything is more than a 5 minute walk away.

Dear Eric G

Hang Tuah MRT/LRT station is located within walking distance as are a majority of the major shopping hubs and nearby tourist attractions. Pavilion Shopping Centre, Fahrenheit 88, Lot 10, Starhill Gallery are just some of the more prominent ones. For the latest in technology and electronics i.e. computers, smartphones, tablets etc, Low Yat Plaza is also nearby.

We also provide a complimentary shuttle service to KLCC Shopping Centre twice a day and once a day to Chinatown in the evening.

I went to KL with family in April 2012 and stayed in Swiss Garden for 2 Nights. Its good hotel at nice location to reach out shops easily at Bukit Bintang for shopping. Food at this location is ok but not with much choice for vegeterians.. :(.
Last but not least point, this hotel is little bit expensive compare to services provided, so didnt find value for money except for location of hotel.

Dear Kunuchopra

Thank you for staying with us in April 2012. Our location is a major plus point and the hotel is conveniently located to major shopping hubs, tourist attractions and other attractions within the city centre for example Chinatown.

You will be pleased to know that we have added a vegetarian section to our buffet breakfast at Flavors and we have been getting good feedback from our guests.
