One of the best places to have a business discussion in KL over a tea tarik, or lunch, dependent on timing. The staff here are particularly good and typically will member your name if you visit a few times. This reflects excellent service.

I live in KL and when I want to treat myself, I go the the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and visit the excellent Lounge on the Park. Firstly the view is just exquisite and soothing with the lush greenery outside the huge windows. What makes the Lounge on the Park really "humm" it the outstanding service you experience every time. The ladies are delightful, knowledgeable and will never rush you. When you are greeted by Manini and shown to your table you quickly leave the hustle of KL behind and for a few hours relax and recharge. Treat yourself, you have earned it.

The setting at the Mandarin Oriental is second to none. Very refined and elegant. We took the buffet tea set which is served on a Sunday afternoon from 3.30pm. The selection is not your traditional High Tea presentation but a buffet display of cakes, savouries etc. An enjoyable afternoon with excellent service but I felt slightly disappointed and perhaps was expecting more after having read the reviews from previous guest who classified this as the best in KL. Expensive - yes, value for money - debatable

High tea starts at 2 30 pm and both the savory and desserts are superb. Eaton mess and Battenberg cake are simply exceptional.

Purpose: I was just looking for a cafe that is not no so annoying but also not so quiet for
studying. However, the staff there just informed me that they have Sunday
Brunch! ONLY ONCE a week. So I think it would be nice to give it a try!

Note: In fact, the buffet is provided by the other restaurant - Mosaic but it would be
even nicer to sit in this Cafe and enjoy all the food! The cafe and the Mosaic
restaurant are just side by side.

Food: Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Western, Local, Salad, Desserts...
So many choices!!! And I tried almost everything, and none of them fail my
expectation!

Beverage: An array of tea and coffee are provided at no cost. BUT the juice needs extra
money XD The only drawback... (I was planning to drink A LOT juice@@)

Money: Total would be around 190 per person (tax, service fee included)
I think it worths it !

Service: SO GREAT! They won't disturb you while yours dining. They clean and fold the
napkin while your are on the way to "find" more food XD. And they smile so
naturally and happily. The one staff of them called Angel is a wonderful woman.

Summery: A great place, if you are in the mood to taste different food and wanna enjoy a
cozy Sunday alone or with your friends. Also a great spot for family.

Reservation: I am not a reservation type. However, with the reputation of the hotel and
these delicious food. I highly recommend that you reserve a table,
especially you want to sit next to the park view window!
